Can I use dead bug with living soil? I don’t want to kill anything I need. Went to water yesterday and I caught a few 3 in total things that were on the soil and flew away. They seemed smaller than fungus nats. Can’t confirm what they were.

For LOS, I've heard a good dry back and a top dress of diomataceous earth should handle any maybes

Edit*** I use Trifecta IPM religiously, so I haven't had any pest problems yet

I am going with week 4 that I am good. I had good results last time with neem followed by Spinosad . I already hit the soil last night with the neem.

I do want to try the earth but I on the fence with living soil. I already learned the lesson using synthetic cal mag they don’t mix well.

That's why I use Trifecta, all organic. They recommend applications every 5 days, but weekly has seemed to work indoors.

I was turned off of charcoal due to a stepfather who was impatient with his charcoal grill, everything had a lighter fluid aftertaste , I know done right it’s the best. I pan sear my meat in a cast iron pan over a gas burner and then almost always cool for ten minutes under a stainless steel mixing bowl before serving. Next time I cook a steak I will post pictures that’ll stimulate the appetite quicker than a joint to the head……
