What about the buttmaster 2000 I think they filmed more than one version of that video, just saying.🤔

Are these under led atm? Because if so, mag is already Mobil as fuck. LEDs will basically super charge a plant to suck it all up out of the medium, that’s what you see when mag pops up most of the time. Waaay more rare under hps.
Yeah I’m under LED, probably for good. Got an SE5000 coming for my 3x3 this week :)

I give 200ppm of calmag with every watering. So that’s 50ppn of magnesium.

I’m thinking about whipping up a gallon of epsom solution and working out the equation to use that plus calmag to bring the ratio of cal to mag somewhere nearer to 2:1, maybe 2.5:1. I know so could just hit them with some epsom alone to correct it, but I like the idea of consistent additions with every watering.

Hey start at a table spoon a gallon with salts, and taper it down until the plant has hardened off to the light you are giving, generally at that point the mag will start to get right given you aren’t redlining ppfd……in my experience anyways……some strains nowadays are whores for mag so you know, strain dependent and all that jazz…..

How about your velvets? Have you had to supplement magnesium? Mine are getting less light than yours (I can tell from your last RV picture) but they still are mag defficienct.

Other confounding difference is that my soil has a lot more nitrogen than yours I believe. So my magnesium issues could potentially stem from the relationship with the high nitrogen, perhaps..

You ready…..I’m not giving them anything yet, as they sit in unamended used soil.

They are rolling! I’m poking this bear quietly gahahaha

Try close to 4:1 cal/mag. The plants don't need much

***edited 5:1 no good for LEDs

I’m not surprised that you aren’t giving them anything yet :)

And considering how dark mine still are, I don’t probably need to tell you that they will likely start off rather sensitive to nitrigen.

But that does beg the question of why yours under more light than mine are not showing any mag deficiency and mine are.

What are your average temps in there?

I’m still thinking it may be something about the high nitrogen, clearly mine are several shades darker.

See everyone, @MartyMcFly42oh friggin gets it……😂😂😂
I don’t know when the cutoff was, but as a kid if you spent enough time outside you would eventually find someone’s stash of porn. I’m honestly surprised that I didn’t witness more random masterbation in the woods as a kid. It was probably around the time that they started selling multi packs with free dvds, “I loved those free dvds “ actually sent them to my buddy when he was deployed in Iraq, best part was when I got them back years later, definitely would’ve turned down borrowed magazines though 🤣🤣🤣! Sadly I was forced to part with my shoeboxes full of smut, girlfriend got some weird ideas in her head when she saw some of the weird stuff they’d put in those multipacks. I tried explaining to her that I’m not into midgets, or pregnant women gangbangs, that I was only after those free DVDs. I don’t think she believes me though.😖

I would agree, that’s a nitrogen hot mix no doubt. In the future you should cut it with a more inert soil. My average temps now are right at 70-75 and 65-70 rh.

How close are your lights? I've read, and why I put my lights as high up, that when your LEDs are close, there is too much light for the plants to properly react to. An option is raising your vpd.
