GDP is a Garbage Strain....IMO

IMO it is a newbie move to label a strain on a cut you dont even know really is the GDP.
Or having tryed to dial it in.
I have grown GDP for over 5 year's.
And IMO nothing compares to the real cut of Nocal GDP.
If grown properly they can easily yeild 4 oz per girl.
But she prefers only 4 top's and very high PPM's in weak's 3 to 6 of flower.
And my GPD tested at the highest THC percentage at the CO-Op I vend to.
So since no one else has posted pics I cut these 2 down yesterday. They will yeild approx 3 oz's per. And for the quality that is great.
Pulled at weak 8 with 14 day's of flushing. And 80 degree temps.
Even without a cure she will taste like candy. And completely couchlock yer arse. Plus eat the whole damn kitchen..
And the guy I got my cut from. Makes my GDP look bad.
He has done it for many more years then me. And truly has her dialed in.

My favorite part about GDP/urkel/all thier good relatives is their fricken taste. No strain I have ever come across tastes so yummy. I mean sheit even when you get down to the roach of a purple strain it still tastes like a fresh green hit! Plus shes a mighty fine lady!

And that was from a friend he is born and raised in Nocal.
IMO she was worth every penny.
I am hoping some will be ready for lost. When I see him this weak.

I just know it came from nocal.
I have read a lot about kens cut. And I think mine may be different.
But it is so hard to tell from photos and descriptoins.
I have a buddy that grows the same cut as mine and I could not even recognize her in his hydro setup.

yes sir bossman i would say that is a real kens cut the same1 i have and the same 1 i gave 2 my friend purpleberry a while back!!!!! i get 2 hole1s per 1000w in sog!! and that 100 you spent bossman was a deal ive sold 1 for 2500 and 2 more at 1000 a piece 2 people who really really wanted a commerical gdp strain!!!! out of all my strains kens is a true commerical strain!! it has almost no streach flowers super fast and will yield like no other when flowered at 6-10 inchs, i love it and purple is wanted in the bay so its all i grow!!!

ive had grower friends tell me gdp is garbage!! its not strong!! it grows slow!!!! it dosnt yield!!! untill i let them grow out a few kens cuts after they grow out kens they all say the same thing its the best or in there top 3 that they have ever grown!! ask purpleberry he was 1 of them he questioned it b4 hand and now hes hooked its all hes growing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude those a beautiful.
The best I have ever yielded with is with only 4 top's.
I dont like cal\mag for them. It seems to make my bud bigger but not as dense.
I let them go cal\mag defficent the who;e flower stage and the nugs come out nice and tight.

And bigyeilds is 100% correct the very best way to yield great with the GDP is SOG.

purple afgoo was fire..but yea i haven't heard many good things about the purp strains..only from those who like the purple..and the really official kens cut..

Your right most of the genetically purple strains are weak. That purple afgoo isn't genetically purple...it purples due to low temps. The bubba will do the same thing...it's not a purple strain. So, I don't like purples....I mean they are eye candy and taste good (some of them) but I kind of like to get high when I smoke weed.

Shit man I paid $500 for an ATF (alaskan thunderfuck) clone and it's a shit yielder(maybe 2-3 oz. per) and to tell you the truth in retrospect that weed is so good I woulda paid a 1000! it's all about quality man and that;s what I'm after. That GDP looks devine man. I have had some purps that would knock your dick in the dirt as well as some that you could smoke a whole 1/8 and wonder if you were high!! Purps always taste the best it seems like though.

That is some super impressive work! I think that I run the same cut. It is wonderful, imo. Have you tried the grape sweet with her yet? If that is old news I apologize. I loved the sweet on the last time around as my goal has always been to bring out the grapes on her.
FoxFarmFreak: Your chronic looks amazing to me! Did you have them right under the light? I noticed that if they don't get direct light then they get really upset and yield quite weakly.

I cant imagine letting em go ca mg deficient especially for a long time would help yield??? thats just not true, sorry, it may "seem" that way but it is not the case,

I had a hard time with it myself.
But I have played with her in many different way's.
And the best yeilds I get quantity and quality wise are when.
I use FF soils with no nutes through out veg.
Then I use all six of the FF products for flower.
Now there is some cal and mag in the FF nutes and soil.
But ask anyone who has used FF for awhile and they will tell you that FF is very weak on cal and mag.
On top of that I use R\O water.
The buds where larger when I used cal\mag.
But where much fluffier and did not weigh great.
But when I use no Cal\mag the nuggs come out rock hard. They must be broken up to burn properly.

Again what work's for one person will not alway's hold true to the next.

I have a cut that really surprised me and I want to run it again. . .Nice yield and extreme aroma combined with a STRONG, heady high that makes my third eye vibrate. Not many colors but I ran it outdoors in near desert-like heat, indoors with AC maybe will color up better.
