Would you fellas consider this bud dense?

i had concerns about the buds on my plants and bud density concerning the cold. i think dense was not what i was actually thinking of, i was actually thinking girth or bulk. that being said i consider density to be how, well, dense they are. from the looks of it your bud appears to be quite dense. the opposite being a bud that was light and airy, perhaps associated with sativa. very nice looking bud, looks tasty.

love it. in the old days light green bud with red hairs was optimal. these days there are so many different colored buds and they are beautiful but in my opinion the light green stuff is as beautiful as anything. i have always leaned toward indica. gotta love it. 👍 👍 👍👍

That’s so dope though. It’s only the eye that cat uses when loading the .50 for bear…..😂
Yo she’s fuckin crazy, when she looks at ya with the gold eye and the blue eye closed look the fuck out, it’s like she blinks with her intentions haha, blue eye safe, gold eye watch the hell out hahaha

I’d give that a proper bud status, just under a gram, looks like itd roll a nice joint, I’d say it’s a winner! When I squeeze my buds lightly after drying if they still easily squish they are what I’d consider airy, if you can squeeze lightly and the bud mostly holds it shape and dosent easily flatten with some pressure the density is good, if you can’t squeeze it out of shape it all that’s what I’d consider super dense.

Visually I’d give that bud an A! Great job!

I’ve got one that looks just like that, although it has 3-4 weeks left (probably a 10 week variety..). What does it look like it’s pulling? Nitrogen?
I’d say that’s what it looks like to me, but I ripped off this chart on the internet as a visual aid

@Mikedin
The black ones have equal parts peat moss, earthworm castings and silica enhanced perlite with build a soil craft blend and a four week cycle of 12 seed cover crop that was chopped and dropped prior to transplanting like two weeks ago.
The tan pots are fabric with a 3/4 length plastic liner, they hold water longer those are from build a soil made by grassroots. Those are 1/3 recycled rinsed and rebuffered coco choir 1/3 earthworm castings, and 1/3 pumice stone, amended with Gaia Green veg and bloom 2:1. Then I did cover crop for a month before transplanting.
The middle one is 1/3 coco 1/3 silica enhanced perlite and 1/3 ewc. In a 2 gallon fabric pot. That’ll be fed Neptune’s harvest organic line of bottled nutrients, which is somewhat new to me, I’ve used their kelp extract line for a couple years as a way to fight heat stress (also why I started using silica) but the other two are new to me. I think de isn’t that bad, it’s crushed fossils of freshwater shellfish. Probably a good source of calcium. It definitely will change the texture of your topsoil though. Yeah I use the build a soil craft blend for dry amendments and the 12 seed cover crops also from them. The cover crop really gets the ball rolling and I see healthy green leaves throughout my entire vegetation stage. I will caution against not chopping the cover crop during flowering, it’ll continue to provide unneeded nitrogen and can result in a nitrogen toxicity. I had it happen with an autoflower in my 2x2 . I had a 15 gallon living soil fabric pot stuffed in there. It got pretty crazy after a while I couldn’t tell the cover crop apart from the autoflower 🤣

I let them dry out a little extra but they are perkin back up after 3 gallons of water each 🤣 still no runoff haha

Got the hydra project plant kickin ass both grafts took, she’s officially caps cali blues carrying 2 untested phenos of trustfalls Frostette (both in the 4x8 and just flipped 5 days ago)

Threw a clone of each of the frostettes in dirt as well as 2 more cali blues under the dome

I cant rememeber which topic was asking about “is this mag def”, if you’re here looking, this is what I consider perfect example of early mag deg before the mid veins start to really yellow (leaf from the cali blues hydra mother she’s always been a mag PIG)

Oh if you can find it,
“Dumpster baby”

got tired of people borrowing my dvds and never returning them, so I bought this one, and made as many people that “borrowed” dvds sit through it. It’s quite the harrowing tale, anyways no one ever asked to borrow that one…..mission halfassed complete, eventually I think my over all dvd recidivism rate was like 20%.

That’s a lot of dvds still in the ether. 😂

🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

had one just like that one. i've been very priviledged some of the sweetest and smartest cats over the course of my life and have been fortunate enough to having been able to get to know some of the most dynamic dogs that others i knew had. unlike many people, i find that for the most part animals are not malicious or intentionally cruel. 👍
Anyone I’ve ever met that didn’t own a pet has been god awfully weird. And I’m one weird dude. Pets have been my “shitty person detector” for ever. 3 dogs 3cats and a lizard topped off with a snake.
