It’s a reality, and when it hit one of my banner runs a few years back I kept the plant and grew it out. I took proper precautions to ensure no transfer to the rest, but unfortunately I had to scrap the entire pheno, and start over. It is what itis, but here’s a a look, kinda weird shit really, the deformed colas def were odd, the plant had dark sections, light sections in pigment, it reminded me of the comic character 2 face.
Figured y’all may book mark this in case you run into it yourselves…..

tried that. the pics come out too bright to see anything of detail. i'll keep working on it . worse case, when they are drier i'll just focus on small areas of bigger buds or on smaller buds. that should at least afford me better detail. i'm so waiting to get to sample them. 4 different strains, 4 different flavors..... i love fine tasting bud...

my tablet takes much better pics but has no flash.

Clean out a spot in your refrigerator under the light and take pictures there, it’s my secret trick to get good pictures of bud with crystals.

Yeah but there was a lot of that would snag those Wookiee motherfuckers and call bs, there was also heads that definitely got the true blue real McCoy back in day. Like I’m growing landrace mowie wowie, completely untouched for 38 years. I kept them myself,it’s uncrossed and it’s growing like a an Oldschool sative does, it took 18 days for preflower on the fems. so the genetics are out there, bc I’m not the only one to hold on to strains that long, the real issue is the folks that still have it around, don’t ever share it. And yeah, it’s gonna be a lower thc then cookies ect. But for me, the Oldschool flavor contributes to the high ina way, that if I close my eyes and think back, I can recall those terps.
A lot of strains from nowadays taste like ass, and just aren’t memorable. That’s my deal.
Old school genetics have their place., especially for breeders.

That def looks like it. It manifests in some funky ways as seedlings, it takes a few nodes to start showing hooked leaf ends, maybe more if it needs to self top. I’ve seen examples of it that looks like a Lilly pad on the top growth, with no new internodal stalks. Like A literal brick wall…..weird shit. Thy chemdog def had it. It’s a scourge man, kinda one of the reasons I’m going back in time and only using genetics I know are free of it through multiple runs.

Well I’ll call your cali blues safe at least this pheno shows no negative effects gunna backcross it asap as soon as these clones are perked up ones getting hit with spray other one will be dusted alsong with both Frostette phenos then I’ll do the same with the frostettes after so each will have a backcross set of seeds

It no wayI wanna lose her as is the growth rate and structure, the blueberry, smaller sized buds Than the other pheno I ran twice but they cure and dry excellent no doubt it makes up for it in potency and overall enjoyability, most likely won’t need seeds as she will live on as cut only along with all strains grafted to her so I can keep exact traits when I want a cut

Last photo shows how far she was cut back 26 days ago; she’s grown back to where she is now in under a month, excellent growth and theats including the serecovery from that huge chop back she was the same size she is now before chop, that whole tent is only running at 240w including fans

BUST THAT CRUST YOU ANIMALS. It’s amazing what just breaking up the top crust on your medium does for drainage and even distribution of feed. Good for getting air to the root zone as well.

Snag the affected branch, then whatever you use to do the cutting, cannot be used on other plants until sterilization has been performed even after the bad branch is removed and you do subsequent pruning, it’s still in the rest of the plant if even when you snag the bad spot. Just keep it clean between plants you should be ok.
Any breeding plans for that plant should be scrapped

I used to do a dwc/dripper 7 pot system. Ive seen them from Ghee now but I remember it as being another brand. I ran it under a 600w non cooltube HPS in a passively ventilated space, because I didnt know shit. Still got close to an lb out of it thanks to a cold ass winter. Outdoors. In my house we were cooking for sure.
I used canna nutes, I kept buying a starter pack, lol, one was perfect for one grow. And god damn I hated those paper PH sticks with liquids.
I never liked the hydro weed though. It tastes significantly worse than the same strain grown in soil. Maybe I messed the nutes up, cant remember.
That was 13 years ago. I saw some stuff on youtube back then about LEDs but it looked like garbage.
I ran a CFL closet grow in my teens too, lol. Smoked all the leaf of that poor plant. Dont even know if it was female We didnt know shit no adult taught us before the internet. I remember reading general plant info in the library.
