Did you happen to buy the seeds from them? You have a cool thread going on. The hard part is that first page to the multiple threads, which are all cool you just end up at a different stopping point than expected .

Some photos to go with the videos.

And my pineapple tops 💀

I did yeah, not for this grow. This rounds all bag seed. Planning to try a winter grow with their tropicana purple cookies.

I had started a winter grow planning thread, that’s the one they liked.

Thanks for the compliment! It did get a bit busy, I was just trying to get all my thought in one place.

It would be a pita to repost all of that I get it. Either way cool thread showing the trials and tribulations that have occurred under your watch.

Thanks man! Yeah, it’s funny even for me to look back a month and be like ‘damn, I was worried about nothing.’

If I can help another rookie not lose sleep over a mistake I’ll consider it a win 🤣

first time roasting 😭
Iwe have 100f summers ... I roast every year. Some plants can take the heat, others can't. Perhaps it best to know which ones can take it! A lot of seedlings struggle with heat ... where I loose the non heat hardy plants!

Creating that illusion! I like it!😁🐒 I’ll bet it’s pleasant down there tonight!
It’s nicer, was seventy something for a few days, ninety today.

At work right now, surrounded by molten aluminum, it’s hot regardless ha

If you get a chance, check out that little clip above about the solar power! You’ve got a post in there, bump for desperation! Ha ha ha! That was a while back!

Yeah, until I started growing I was under the assumption hotter was better.

I might start doing just sativas in the summer, I have the space and weather for it.

You know, let me get thru this grow ha

Hot slag put's hair on your tongue like a real man faster then drinking antifreeze does.

Glad your relaxing a bit with the grow 🤙 🤙
Read through your grow diary in its entirety about a month ago. Couldn't remember your username and didn't click the 👁 to watch the post. Glad to see you and the plants have pulled through.

Wanted to attached this article for you though. I know you are aware now about the eucalyptus, but here is the science. It can act as a herbicide, much like the black walnut I have on my property.

I had totally forgot about black walnuts being potentially phytotoxic. Havent been around em in ages. One that was cut way back but not removed nearly killed a plant i gave to a friend of mine this spring. We had to sever the roots in between the plants and the walnut tree, then we tore the stump out of the ground with an ATV and backfilled it with decent soil from elsewhere in her yard. We flushed like mad with her hose then through some feed on top and watered it in. Stunted for a while, but we saved it.

She dug a hole right into the roots of a cut back black walnut and planted lol. Juglone can be nasty stuff. There are some sumac species that seem like they cause problems with surrounding plants as well, and they are very closely related to walnuts, and also give you poison ivy 😬

Somebody’s been watching on patrol live! L O L!

I started hand pouring steel back in 2018, deslag every pour. Moved to aluminum die casting and they all call it dross? Same idea though.

Luckily we don’t have any walnuts but lord, gonna have to think a little more before I start doing shit

i dont begin to claim to know anything about metal refining or stuff like that. I brain just farted out an absurd statement and i rolled with it 😎

Theres a lot of plants, that native species have evolved to tolerate in a kinda evolutionary race..

Unless you live in the mountains of india, cannabis is not one of those plants where you live lol. Pretty much anything that potentially phytotoxic in our neck of the woods will affect cannabis pretty severely.

Sativa's, especially if you get your hands on the right ones, that's where its at outside if you have a long enough season imho ;)

Coulda fooled me haha. I don’t know that much about growing weed either but here we are!

It doesn’t get cold here too often, no snow. Sometimes hail? And it rains like five times a year. Might be a good plan.

Plus I have a jack herer obsession I need to indulge. That smell man, like lemons and mint, does for me

you’re telling me they piss when they get attacked
nah it smells worse the pee and comes out right through their skin. It's toxic to some birds and reptiles i believe too. Is a defense mechanism.

Ive become all about those oldschool skunky musty savory sativas in recent years. I got a couple jack descendants out there ive very excited about too. Thats my other big desire. Get as close to that original jack as i can.

Nature is fucking wild man. Never knew worms did that.

I mean I don’t discriminate weed wise ha. But I’ve always bought weed based on smell above all else. Three scents or flavors I need to get my hands on are that jack flavor, way back when I had some shark shock that tasted like straight pine needles, and when I first started smoking I had some bud that tasted like blueberry yogurt. Didn’t know how good I had it

Im on a desperate hunt for that stains your sinuses pine flavor. It just vanished all of a sudden about 15 years ago. The old deadhead who grew the buds my Original jack x original big bud seeds came from. His buds were giant pointy christmas trees that stained your smell with their lemon pine scent.

He just left some original jack plants from old mendo seed interbreed season after season with some old original big buds in the ozark mountains. Pollen chucked naturally with themselves year after year for almost 30 years. So its not jack or big bud anymore, or really even a cross, its it's own genotype now really. But im desperately hoping they bring that lemon pine flavor the buds i smoked had. I hadnt tasted that in AGES and forgot about it until i tasted those buds. My peaceblasters have nailed that skunk next road over dankness before, hoping one of them will this time. PB1's stems wreak of raunchyness and skunk-ass in the stems already.

pine, lemon, and skunk. those are the traits im after flavor wise. I love good blueberry but for some reason always let it go.

the one on the right in the third image. The ridges on the upper leaves, the way they're sitting, and some leaf margins down low (its really hard to tell without inspecting up close) might be implying a very mild, or virgining lockout/nutrient thing. Do you wave a way to test the PH of the soil in the container? It's at "no big deal" levels if it is one, and she may just be a pickier plant, but theres a look a plants get to em right after their ph dips suddenly, but before anything really goes wrong. i think my radar for that might be going off slightly on that one

I was just telling a coworker I haven’t had to test the PH at all 🤦‍♂️ I have a little moisture meter that says it checks PH but I don’t know how accurate it is

Ive had some plants that i have to keep PH dialed organic or synthetic if bottle fed.

Back to the fast blaster. One dip too low in DWC suddenly and cal mag lockout is everywhere overnight. Her land race parent was the same wy. Isnt that rapid in soil, and some plants could care less especially under the sun. But in a container PH can become important over time especially with bottle nutrients on lockout sensitive plants
