I'm in the mountains in California and the heat struggle is real this summer. This is the tough shed that I use and it took two intakes and three vents to keep everything under 100 degrees for the last 6 weeks. Those baby autos on the outside sit there getting partial sun because any more than that and they are getting torched to death with a quickness.
Heat is always my issue !
And, I'm indoors. Mist .

Nice man! Yeah I gave up on the green house for now. I’m planning to pack her full of weed and veggies probably october ish.

Still need to water proof it. Put in the gutters. Vents and exhausts. I’m a better breaker than a builder 💀

But yeah, this summers been something. Was supposed to be 90 yesterday. My thermometer in the shade by our back door said 106. Kids are going crazy trying to hide from the sun haha

Hey there! 🌞

Bag seed adventures are always a wild ride, but they can surprise you in the best ways! Growing in sunny California is a great start—gotta love that natural sunshine. Those 30-gallon fabric pots will give your plants plenty of room to stretch their roots.

Alkaline soil and water can be a bit tricky, but don’t worry, it’s all part of the learning process. You might want to consider adding some organic matter or sulfur to help lower that pH. It can make a world of difference.

And wow, GG 4, Pineapple Haze, and Tropicana Purple Cookies/Punch sound like a fantastic lineup for your next round! You're going to have a blast with those. If you need any tips or run into any issues, feel free to reach out. We’re all in this together. Happy growing! 🌱

Cheers!✨
I feel like I’m talking to a celebrity 💀

I’m really excited to see how this grow goes, and to start another one after all I’ve learned. I’ll definitely keep you updated once the next round germinates.

Your misting your plants?
Yup I run a humidifier whenever the lights are on.
I don't run humidifier at night, so I do t get mold. But, you can run it all day with the lights. And, once a day I mist it alittle bit, just to let it think its outside. 50 % all day. Let it dry out at night.
And circulation.

And, everyday I give it a 1/4 turn, so I don't have the same side facing it everyday.

I don't know if that rainstorm hit your area yesterday but before it was 111 with 10% rh and after, a cool 78 with 50% rh all the way into the morning. Much needed.

No, but the temps are gonna drop this weekend. We got a 17foot water slide for my 17/7 year old double birthday party cuz it’s been 90+ for weeks.

Saturday it’s a high of like 72, gonna get weather whiplash

I’m outdoor so no issue with the lights, but I turn mine often just so the water moves thru different parts of the pot. Maybe I’m crazy lol

We have two little’s birthdays a few weeks apart end of august and beginning of sept. We’re doing a combined party with a waterslide bounce house thing! Great idea!

Hell yeah! We have July 30th for my 6 year old and August 2nd for my 16. We were pretty sure they were gonna end up sharing a birthday.

Two in january, one in june, then my wife, me, and our 14 year old son in october. Which is why I need these plants to flower early 🤣

@Oldchucky I see what you mean about the stretch, I swear they’re getting taller every day lol
I like stretching. I'm in day 12 I think of flower. It gives me more room, when I have to trim in the middle. To cut a leaf here and there, that's blocking buds.
