Outstanding job for your first time. I have been mentoring a coworker and I just told him he's going to set a new standard for first time growers. He took on 10 plantsFirst time grower here. Half Maui Wowie (so they claim, but it is definitely mostly Sativa); half Fritter Glitter. The Maui is starting to flower; the FG looks like it's close (they are a week and a half behind in planting). The Maui seeds popped on May 23, so I guess these are around day 70 or so; the FG is probably about day 60. I'm in Massachusetts and it has been very hot and humid here. Most 90+ degree days in of any recent Summer in memory. I've been alternating between weekly sprayings of Dr. Zymes and Copper Fung (sprayed in the evening). I've been feeding AN base products A and B along with Cal-Mag. Just recently added Bud igniter and now Big Bud. Quick question for anyone: Is it common for Sativa to be allot more thirsty than Indica? Also, does this seem like reasonable progress thus far? Thanks man! I have 12 of them out there. Had I known what I was getting into, I would have aimed for half of that.Outstanding job for your first time. I have been mentoring a coworker and I just told him he's going to set a new standard for first time growers. He took on 10 plants![]()

Might as well grow All the law allows! And a few more! Thanks man! I have 12 of them out there. Had I known what I was getting into, I would have aimed for half of that.
Are you in Michigan? I've been growing outdoors since they legalized it and it's been a roller coaster ride. And I always start with more than I think I'll need. (quiet Oldchucky,Thanks man! I have 12 of them out there. Had I known what I was getting into, I would have aimed for half of that.
So, because I'm retired and I don't have anything better to do in the summer..I went all out with 12 my first year outside six the next year 4 the year after that to 1 last year and this year I JUST put 2 little ones out just because I love to watch them grow out in the sun
big outdoor plants are A LOT OF WORK to do right !!!
I hear you! Mass Law makers can be retarded. By law we are allowed 10oz of weed, but we can grow 12 plants.Might as well grow All the law allows! And a few more!
So what are you supposed to do with more than 10oz if you've grown it?I hear you! Mass Law makers can be retarded. By law we are allowed 10oz of weed, but we can grow 12 plants.
Good to know on those bins! No, I'm in Southeastern Massachusetts. It's tricky to grow anything here. Lately it's been 90% degrees and as humid. It swings bad too. Last week we had several hot, humid, sunny days followed by a day when it was high 60's, damp, and cloudy. If I make it to October without bud rot or mold, it will be a miracle. Are you in Michigan? My rational is that 'shit happens' and you never know if your plants will survive or last until harvest.
And there are these nice big bins with seals you can get from Menard's. LOL
(in case you have more than those little jars can hold)
throw it away or become a newly minted outlaw I suppose. I'm certainly not tossing it. Seriously, I'll probably give most of it to all the smokers in my world. I mean, 1 oz. of weed for me is like a 2 year supply. So what are you supposed to do with more than 10oz if you've grown it?
You pretty much have the same weather we have down on eastern Long Island. I have a sister in Barnstable.Good to know on those bins! No, I'm in Southeastern Massachusetts. Yeah, pretty much the same. I actually live in Bourne (kind of northwest of Barnstable). I'm right on the Cape Cod Canal. You pretty much have the same weather we have down on eastern Long Island. I have a sister in Barnstable.
Oh cool, hate them high curbs on the bridge.Yeah, pretty much the same. I actually live in Bourne (kind of northwest of Barnstable). I'm right on the Cape Cod Canal.
Oh if I was retired I would be all in right along with yaSo, because I'm retired and I don't have anything better to do in the summer..
I do go a little overboard. LOL
We're only allowed 4 plants in Canada unless you have a medical license. 2 plants over is $150 fine or so and cops won't write a ticket unless you really ask nicely for it ;-).That’s how the med law was in MI before recreational 12 plants but only 8 Oz in possession ( I think it was 8 maybe even less ) it’s been a while and my memory isn’t all THAT greatin what world do you only get that little bit from 12 plants ??? It was a glorious few years tho cuz you could sell “ overages “ to the few dispensaries that were around and they were payin WELL

The important part is you can have up to 150 grams if you have a medical card. You don't even need 4 plants for that. How many can you grow with a med card ?
