Gonna need some practice putting the tarp in place. Took a lot longer on the first try than expected. And the veg light will be easier to work around than bloom light, I suspect. Seems to provide decent light when it's closed up. I'm still considering another possibility for dealing with the tarp situation.

So I just measured out 4.5 liters of my growing medium and dumped it into a two gallon fabric pot and then into another two gallon fabric pot. I’m waiting on build a soil to respond to my question on how much craft blend to use per gallon of soil. No directions on the package, website says 1/4-1/2 cup per cubic foot of soil and then a product description video on YouTube by build a soil has Jeremy saying 2-4 cups per cubic foot.
When did soil growing become so complicated? Oh, humans are involved? Say no more🤣

Don’t stress on using to much craftblend.

Thats my strategy or lack, thereof.
You're making me wanna grow in soil but I hate soil so much I can't even bring myself to contemplate it and I'm replacing all my veggies for fall into coco. I've got pepper plants in clay pots half buried in soil with soil in the pots and they dry out 3 x's a day, every single day. Might as well grow them in coco.

Hey, I'm the plumber here. What's the big idea of using pvc pipe?🤣

Dude, LOVE THIS! Plumber Approved and thinking of making a couple of them. I did make a camping shower 3x3x6' w/ 3/4" pipe and wrapped in tarp that works great.

Well Done😘

That ish is expensive you must get a discount.
Yeah, been buying from the same shop for 10 years now and they give me pretty good deals on like water heaters, disposals and higher end faucets but pipe is pretty much the same price even on Amazon (I AM NOT AN AMAZON REP🤣) although fittings, like those 3 way on the corners are expensive at most places except Amazon at $2 ea.

That's how I feel about coco. 🤣

Here’s the two gallon fabric pot trimmed down to the max fill line of 4.5 L . I pulled out about 1.5 L’s of soil and set aside for top dressing. Cleaned up the area, hung a new fan, plugged in the exhaust fan, turned the light down , hung a doubled up 3x3 scrog net, and cleaned the humidifier. Just have to pick some seeds to soak Monday morning and I’m ready to go!

You ever try peat? I like ProMix HP it's easy like soil but more forgiving than coco. I just adapt to whatever my situation calls for. For instance, right now my RO system is down so growing in coco or hydro is out the door for me. What, with the 650ppm 8+ pH well water I have 🤣

But at least with peat and soil the pH isn't so much of an issue, and I know exactly what's in my well water, so I just adjust from there. Lots of calcium, iron and magnesium in my well water, so my calmag bottle is a dust collector 🤣
