I'm sure whether pH matters or not mostly depends on growing style. For some, pH matters. For others, it doesn't. Then again, if, for example, the pH of the source water is way off, then pH will matter regardless of the growing style. I'd say it's always important to know the pH of the irrigation water before it's used. I've randomly tested mine many times over the years, and it has been stable at 7.6. I generally use organic growing methods, and for that, testing pH doesn't matter for my water, as long as the pH of the source water remains stable. So, one of my gripes about forum advice is when an experienced grower advises a newbie before asking about their style of growing. There isn't a "one-size-fits-all" method of growing.
ya never ever used ph stuff

I see grower after grower with lockout issues being told to add more of this or that, but that doesn't solve a lockout, proper PH does.

Beautiful! Judging from the size of that Thicket There should be enough there for both of you! I’ve always found that sharing your fruit with the wildlife is better for your heart, then eating it! I take it you haven’t went out and tried to shake hands with that buck yet. L O L! With a little luck, there will be a couple of Fawns Added to the family next summer! Enjoy them!

I threw her out some old sweet corn this morning and a few squash the other day

But I want the damn berries for myself! 😡

Just kidding you can't stop them unless you put up netting, most of the berries are done anyway

a lot of that is just overgrown garbage that needs to be ripped out and replanted with blueberries and blackberries and netted in so I can have some of them

Before the first Frost I take all the netting down and let them clean up the gardens

Then when the snow starts they eat all my landscaping plants! 😳 I don't know how many times I've looked out a window at night and there's a deer literally right there, big set of eyeballs staring back at me 😱 it took some getting used to believe me! 😂🤣😂

I wouldn’t be surprised if you ran into a few black bears sooner or later! That looks like good bear country! But if you don’t have to lock your garbage cans up, maybe it is not bear country. But probably plenty of raccoons to get into it! L O L

Speaking of bears . We here have alot, one pretty regular neighborhood black bear , kinda big for here , the new construction neighbors without fences up yet catch him all the time on their ring cameras he usually strolls by about 4 am.

It is 😳 Closest one so far that I've heard about was at the top of my road about 3 mi up in 22

When they start coming around that'll be the end of my bird feeders

Got to be 40 - 50 turkeys out there right now, one hen (I think that's what a female turkey is called) just walk by with 10 to 12 tiny babies oh man they are funny to watch 🤓 couldn't really get a good picture though because the the window has a screen and the hay is so tall
