No, seriously though, I am so glad I never signed up for FB or any of the other major social media sites.. I've always been a firm believer that if a product/service is "free," then you are the product/service.

My wife uses Facebook and I wish she would stop. She has the app on her phone and it's constantly eating up all her data, sending God knows what data they are collecting, constantly. I installed an f-droid app on her phone that tracks and blocks trackers and Facebook is the worst, contacts something like 50 different companies a week

I'm sure it's sending snippets of our conversations and everything to some shmoes trying to sell dog toys or some shit.

Privacy is hard enough to come by these days, and social media is just another tool that can be used against you.

Anyone here have any experience with making apps for Android/iPhone? More concerned with Android. I'm well versed in many other things computer related, programming, networking, etc. but not so much in making apps.


Reason I ask is I would like to make an app for growing/gardening that doesn't require an Internet connection or account to use and has features we could actually use. I searched through the Google play store and only found a small handful of apps that all suck ass. Would like to try my hand at making a free app that is actually useful.

I'm not sure why we used to do it but when we were kids we'd drop acid and go to the drive-ins for the triple header horror movies. It would take a week or two to sleep that shit off.

Definitely larger than what you need. What are those, 3 gallon nursery pots? I'd up to 5 and proceed as planned. Won't hurt either way. I prefer to up pot in stages, I get much denser root balls this way. Usually from 1 gal to 3 gal to 5 gal to 7 gal or larger for final. What I usually get is layers on top of layers of solid root walls that, when the plant is finished, is usually so dense I have to literally beat the shit out of them with a sledgehammer to break it up
