THE TRAINWRECK. Brought to you by thcfarrmer…..

So I found this new smokin spot on my ridge this morning. Bout a 10min bike ride from home. Is a screenshot of a photo because I already left and had location on when I snapped it 🙄 This is what the real Tennessee feels like. And this is why I love it here.

@Mikedin Who is the breeder for Cali Blues? I must have missed that if it was posted at some point but trying to Google Cali Blues is about as useful as searching for the cause of your symptoms when you feel sick 🤣 ✌️
Was @Captspaulding

Is a Cali dream/blue dream fem cross iirc. I got one helluva pheno first pop from it. My pheno is super drought intolerant, but very vigorous and overwatering resistant. Very cool look to it's leaves too, excited to sample the flower. Old-school sativa is right up my ally. I think I only have 2 phenos out of 23 that are more vigorous and they're land race sativa F1s. So the comparison isn't exactly fair.

I do the same but with the peat I only mildly pack it, as it settles as I top water, I top off with more peat until it’s where it wants to be and soil is level where I want it. Almost a always a big jump within 24-48 like you said.
I usually water in with something like microbe brew or the Advanced nutrients OG tea

I also use hard pots at least until final pot, I never transplant out of a fabric pot, too much root damage for me, maybe it acts as a type of root pruning to promote new growth but I like painless seamless transplants with no slowdown to plant growth
I helped a friend transplant out of a cloth pot once what a pita that was I can see why folks use them for a final pot though

When Ive transplanted from cloth with big plants I just cut em open with barber scissors and grab em by the trunk with a hand under the dirt ball and move em.

I've always bought the dirt cheap multi packs of eBay cloth pots. It's never bothered me to destroy one of I needed to 🤣

Ah, very cool. I can't get enough of the pictures of that plant. It's just an amazing. Those buds look like freaking Christmas. ✌️

I'll likely be choosing a Cali blue pheno at some point to bring into my Columbian peaceblaster lineage for another F1 generation.

I was a big fan of that plant before I even popped a bean lol.

A blue dream male was 2 gens back in my Columbian lineage. I'm very curious if there's enough divergence in the two genotypes to maintain F1 vigor. That male was from a Blue Dream F8 bean pull. Was only like 3 phenos across the entire male/female genotype at that point.

And we have lift off. 🚀 I had one seed left from my last run and there's just enough time to get this one in since it doesn't feel like hell's campfire anymore outside. After a [mostly] successful run of autos for the last couple of years, it's back to photos. ✌️

That feeling when you spent 3 days digging and leveling using a level, but then realize whoever put up the shed did not do the same, but said they did.😑

Now I gotta tell the old man his "professionally installed" shed is a half inch down on the right and almost 2 inches up on the left from true level lol. I only gotta bring the left side u p like an 1/8-1/4" for true level and there gonne be a gap between shed and deck for most of the run still.

I just plant the whole thing into a bigger pot and then reuse the pot. I've got 40 1 gallon cloth and they're pretry sturdy. Last year I planted several into 2.5-5 gallon pots and worked like a charm. Lots of small roots went through and over the pot into the coco😉

I forgot my chillum somehow today. And it's lunch time.

When's the last time you guys made one of these?

Prob been about 15 years for me.

3/16 makes a great double hitter. Just like the good ole days.

Charged the old man low hourly and busted my ass over a few days.

Including lumber prob only cost the old man about $750 when done. Contractor estimate was 3500. Normally I don't lowball a contractor or try under bid them like that the old man's on a very limited fixed income

Gonna come back and add a couple feet to the right side frame, then get em bolted together and do a ramp.
