Did we lose some participants?
Seems like there's not enough post on update days for as many members that joined 😥
I messed up, and posted a date late once already...

Or people getting nervous now that my sprout is finally breaking through the soil surface.. she been busy working underground for the last 2 and a half weeks.

Looking back, she may not have really cracked when I originally soaked her. I may have been a little to excited to get it into the soil. Really the only reason to use a dome or a bag is if you don't trust yourself to not let her dry out... I definitely would have 😅. Look at the shell and inner layering on the seed. Don't always get a good look.

I know she is fashionable, but I took her hat off. My dad woulda done the same. "You take your cap off in this house!"

Yeah they have a few lounges in the Palm Springs ca area. But the city has as much tax as the state.
That’s really cool! I was going to ask if you were in cali : ) I’m pretty anti establishment but I do love to see the continuing laws allowing us to more freely enjoy what we want without the fear of prosecution!

@Thukah you have, hands down the most badass setup in the pot for this contest! I fucking love your greenery! It’s beyond wild to me! 😍 Never saw this before, and the dude I worked with years ago chewed my ass for letting little tiny weeds grow in the plot under plants (my theory for letting them go was a nice ground cover) he told me they take up the nutrients from the plant 🤦‍♂️ it was like a clover or something, very small and hardly a deep root system. Thank you for proving that ass hat wrong lol!!!❤️✌️

I used to run clover cover crop but I tended to get PM or some other issue every time I used cover crop (still got a bag I believe lol) I do love how it looks though!

Hit em with some captin jacks deadbug (OMRI rated) it killed thrips in 2 spray downs for me, I always keep some on hand and spray plants at least 2 times within a week of flipping to flower as a preventative now

folks put straw and other shit around their plants : ) I like the idea of a living cover! But yeah if youre fighting a PM issue because of it then time to make a choice (a very easy choice😂)

@Thukah DO IT! I got this stuff and it has killed a small mite problem in one spray! I used it on my inside vegging plants before I up potted and transferred them to the shed! Gave a few more since then just to stay on the safe side though. I still need to get another agent, im not sure of the build up or “resistances” the bugs can form🤷🏼‍♂️

I also have their insecticidal soap I find it works very well for gnats even though both products are recommended for gnats I found the soap is 10x more effective for gnats specifically

If I’m using it for gnats I top dress the medium with DE once the top layer dries back from its watering so the DE can sit on the top dry layer and stay effective, can also lay down a inch deep layer of perlite then dust the top of that to be even more effective

Then the soap spray down as well
