I vaguely remember being in some Canna farmer's journal saying "hey you should get rid of that spider before it makes an egg sack, it's a hobo funnel weaver, i'm going to get rid of my funnel spider before it makes a sack right now". Or something to that exact effect.

I thought I was being this proactive helpful garden buddy. But nah .... Naaaaaah.

Heads up, hobo funnel weavers are definitely among the more dangerous of spiders in north america lol. Especially in groups.

I also remember this convo....what thread......got me but i remember. The hobo looking things and the brown recluse are super venomous, the recluse will dislove your tissue through as @Captspaulding about spider bites from those bastards. The hobo looking one has a super odd web, looks like a predator web so more like cob webs mashed together, nothing pretty about it. I do have some fat widow looking that were the same situation I though I got the parents but then today little bastards all over smfh. I once had 3 funnel spiders on My back porch in unison land on my back and bite me, team effort, swelled my back like a teenage mutant ninja turtle .

I've had super psychedelic sativas before. As long as you're not an all the time smoker that is lol.

I've had buddies on their back making hand signs to the sky in a field lmao. Post-experience claimed he was flinging colors and shapes into the clouds and they were following his hand movements and shit lmao.

I wasn't on my back in a field making hand signs at the sky and telepathically controlling clouds though, i was just stoned lol.

The same 30%+ indicas around today would have a cat like that drooling in the corner with one eye shut trying not to have what they thought was a heart attack lmfao.

I tripped balls on some homegrown G13 back in the day, when I got out of the Army. I hadn't smoked in years. I remember it like yesterday, it was the first time I actually got visuals from weed.

Here too, about the same temps. Rain and wind yesterday had to drag my plants under the patio. I closed my windows part ways it way blowing so bad it knocked a mirror i set in my window sill in the BR ( women do these things cause the light reflection helps LOL ) off and broke it. Made me so sad, it was a real nice one. I went out to the drug store to purchase another and what a POS they had for face mirrors. Sorry for talkin girlie stuff but this really made me mad the shit cheap things there selling anymore.

I'm excited to try this Nanan Bouclou, from the few people who have reviewed it, they allege that it is a very psychedelic cultivar.

Just a few snippets on these Colorado Sativas cultivars I started along with my 1GC seed.

Nanan Bouclou -

As Sativa as it gets.

Seriously acid trippy profoundness to the high with a sweet aromatic taste.

The motherplant is Haitian Sativa and its father is a Cape Tribulation Sativa ( which is PNG Gold).

Needless to say, it wants to get big. Indoors will require tipping and or LSTing to keep it within a manageable size.

Outdoor will be easily 3-5 metres. Flowering is long too. Classic 13-17 weeks. Closer to 15 weeks properly.

The high is profound and very trippy, is creepy in onset and rushes hard from there to a limitless ceiling.

Grow Environment : Outdoor Tropical only, or at the very least in a grow envionment long mild Autumn.

Have been seeing this grown with success indoors too which is pleasantly suprising.

Flowering Time: 13-17 weeks.

The Nepalese was crossed with a touch of Jamaican ’85 to add vigor, yield, bluish colors and the classic positive Jamaican effect to the final hybrid while maintaining the compact original nepalese behavior.”

Zamaldelica: This Mysterious 100% Sativa Is Something Else
This strain is unique since it derives from Réunion, an island just east of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean. This island exudes mysterious vibes, and a sativa landrace coined Zamal. When Zamal was pollinated by a Golden Tiger strain, their ganja baby turned into Zamaldelica, a 100% sativa. Sweet carrot and floral fragrances are to be expected after hitting that toke. The highs are quite uplifting and psychedelic.

Zamaldelica grows much like a landrace sativa, best suited for outdoor operations. Vigorous growth is to be expected. The buds land on the fluffy side. This strain finishes its flowering period in about 11-14 weeks, which is definitely a sativa trait. The growth becomes quite bushy, although one needn’t worry about mold because of the fluffy nugs.

So a little backstory, I got these seeds a few years back, maybe 2018-19? We live relatively close to the guy who runs Colorado Sativas, and a good friend of ours in Kauai wanted us to order some seeds from him, since, at the time, they didn't want to ship to Hawaii. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure this was before the 2018 Farm Bill legalizing hemp, thus legalizing seeds. Anyway. We ordered a bunch of different ones for our friend, and he told me to keep the Nanan Bouclou, Nepal Jam and Zamaldelica seeds as a thank you for getting him the seeds and shipping them to him in HI.

I never was a huge sativa fan. Always preferred indicas. Sativas just didn't get me "high" and in fact, sativa/indica hits me in the opposite way it does most folks. I get more of a head high from indicas whereas a sativa makes me lazy, "couch-locked" and tired. Indicas usually give me a lot of energy, uplifting and motivating. Which is exactly opposite from most people I've talked to. At any rate, I just prefer indicas for their effects, not necessarily their shorter flowering time/etc..

These days I do enjoy switching it up with some Sativas, and it's always nice to have a selection for guests, etc. I'm definitely stoked about these cultivars, though. They are all regular seeds (not feminized) so good chance I will get a male or two out of the deal. Definitely excited to add some new genetics to my pollen stash. I intend to fuck around and find out with some of my own genetics

Light stress or maybe normal? Week3 flower. 2 different strains Is doing it mars hydro is set on 45%. I’m lowering intensity just in case. I don’t see any tips of leaves pointing up or any canoeing of the leaves. Figured it may just be normal

It all depends. I never have any hiccups transplanting but I've been doing it for a very long time, too. My transplants never miss a beat not a wilt or problem at all. I think it's due to the fact that I am very careful, I use hard pots so the root ball slides right out, I pack the sides in very tight, and water them in very well. I usually wait until the pot is fairly dry, before transplanting, too, as the whole root ball seems to come out easier dry than wet. I'm just really careful and try to move as fast as possible. But the most important part imo is watering it in very well after packing.

I am too most of the time but we all fuckup
But i usually transplant alot but i have been digging the idea to just transplant into something large then fully saturate and then the root ball usually explode in growth on 2nd watering after transplant

Last week we had a night dip down to 48 down here in TN lol. Im at high elevation... but stilll... Just a tad nerve inducing to dip that cold during what is traditionally our hottest stretch of the entire year here.

We had some really weird weather here in Missouri also not a normal summer . It’s been cold in the morning low 50 then goes near 100 during the day I can’t imagine what that does to a plant
