I took the shot after my buddies sister passed her up cause she couldn’t see her. The doe wasn’t big in size but mighty tasty. That’s my gun of choice, if I can’t hit it once and be done, I don’t deserve the opportunity to take its life. It’s a thompson center arms encore, made in Rochester NH , I only started hunting ten years ago, but was able to bow hunt after completing a field day at a local rod and gun club. So I learned to bow hunt the same time as I did with a firearm. I love the early season hunting that’s just around the corner here now , opening day for archery season is September 15th.

I also only started hunting about 10 years ago.

At the time it was archery, muzzleloader, shotgun only.

If you operate within the rules, that shit will teach how to get close to game

I was single when I got all my deer , haven’t shot one since I met my girlfriend. She put some sort of gypsy spell or curse on me Not for lack of trying. I passed on two deer last year that I was incredibly close to. Two does on the ground at ten feet during early bow season and a tall horned spike late gun season that walked right under my stand at twelve yards.

That’s what happens when we worry about everyone’s feelings, the cry babies grow in strength and numbers. Not trying to sound callous or anything just think it’s pretty obvious. There’s been less and less focus on discipline and respect in parenting in the last thirty years and more focus on feelings and comfort. Parents stopped being parents and tried to become friends and equals with the children they were raising. I think that’s a bit backwards and should happen later in life when the children are adults and participate in the world the same way as their parents do. But that’s definitely not everyone and it’s also just an observation and opinion from a 43 year old who’s been in the workforce for close to 30 years now.

That’s how my wife and mother in law are, now that we’re adults we hang out with everyone regardless of age, (we prefer older folks) we can’t stand the immature bullshit from the younger crowd, and with the way this new generation is I’m glad my kids are homeschooled, keeps them away from all this crazy shit there pushing in schools. It’s bad enough that once we pulled our kids. My son used to have a tutor that came, she pulled all 4 of her kids from school, then to find out even the district superintendent pulled her kids and started homeschooling, she knew she had to teach the states requirements or lose funding, so she pulled her own kids out and taught the rest what the state made them teach

Morning Wreckers...

Maaaan... I had a SHIT day yesterday. Everything was going fine yesterday morning, was waking up, drinking my coffee, watching westerns on TV, like usual... Then out of nowhere this damn broken tooth started hurting again. Bad broken molar. Infection started making my head pound like it was going to explode.

You know the worst part about it is it just had to happen on a Saturday when no fuckin dentist is open. They stopped doing emergency extractions at the ER here, too, so if you have tooth pain on the weekend in Colorado you're FUCKED

Thank God we had some antibiotics in the cupboard from one of the kids. I took some of that shit and passed out eventually.. Woke up and no more pain at the moment. Pray that's all for now Fuck tooth pain for real.

Brush your teeth every day and stay away from candy, kids. It's not worth it!

Sorry to hear that I had the same issue a few months ago ended up waiting 2 months! up here they only do molars at oral surgeons the most they’ll do is refer you, oh and no pain meds for teeth they told me take Tylenol, same after the extraction, nothing

Yeah it's so fucked they won't give painkillers or anything anymore. I had one extracted last summer. They gave me several oral injections of antibiotics and locals that took care of the pain immediately but sent me home with nothing. After that pain, a little discomfort from a pulled tooth was nothing, though...

The good part is that dentist was really nice and compassionate, I should probably schedule another appointment and have this broken tooth pulled before it starts hurting again, but I'm the King of Procrastinating so...

I've had more than one person in my life tell me my grave stone should read "Fuck It"
