That's is awesome, my girl fell in love with that!
Now I'm going to have to build that so I'll be busy for the next 2 weeks so if I'm not around that's why

It would fit right in with us, our house has some spooky vibes already

It's funny because we have been talking about making a cat tree ourselves the last couple days,
I found 6' tall ones on Amazon but $100 for cardboard and particle board seems like a lot.

I can't tell you how many pairs of trimming shears I've had to buy lmfao

Totally! The real neat ones are out of the question price wise! Can pick up enough plywood to throw something together : ) you can score scraps of carpet for cheep from the carpet stores, even maybe get some at a great price to really tie it all together haha. @Putthataway you into building cat houses? we could start a builders thread in DIY dont tell logic! just kidding!

I’m purposely not showing my girlfriend that castle, we’ve also got spooky vibe decor in our house and with three Maine coons that castle would seem a little bit understaffed . We’d have to get like three or four more. For now they’ll just have to be okay destroying my tent and curtains

Pick up you’re a copy of this book, if you’re serious about building a cat structure this book’s got some cool ideas in it.

I already have enough wood laying around to build a nice tree, indoor/outdoor carpet is pretty cheap at the hardware stores.

My friends cats would snatch the old sandwich bags of chronic… that’s what we called the good stuff back in the day. If it was Mexican brick aka schwag they wouldn’t touch it. The good stuff was like cat nip to them. They wouldn’t eat it just play with the bag.

pretty sure that role just shifts from mom, to girlfriend, to wife as the years go on. I've had tool-fairies in the house since i was like 15.

A cardboard box is like the best thing ever to our cats, but they like to conceal themselves in something. We’ve got cheap tunnels and tents as well as one of those scratching posts with a perch on the top. If I come home some days and I won’t be able to find a cat or two and I’ll find them in a cabinet

The 10mm socket of gardening? My lady likes my shears but everything in the garden room stays in the garden room. She has a thing for the shears and keeps buying them when I ever send her the hydro store.

She bought a set of scissors like this from the grocery store with the green and black handles. Seemed like a copy of these. I washed them with alcohol gave them a chop chop shake and one blade left the pin flying through the air leaving my dogs and I all trying to avoid the flying knife that luckily missed them and my foot that landed dagger down. I think it was my first picture I ever posted on this site and it was posted in this thread. After that her fascination with I am get some more scissors when I go there began.

You are wise there. I was able to make it til about 4 months ago. evenusing android phones and everything without actually making an account.

My new phone though... it forced me to scan in my fingerprint and face, then disable biometrics and face ID sign in *after the fact*

All of my phones before this one, left it up to you whether you set that stuff up.

This one forced me to create and link a google account with the fingerprint and face scan. It let me disable all that after the fact, but i really, REALLY don't like that there is now a fingerprint, and photograph of my face associated with a google account i dont even use. That's straight up insidious.


Motorla made it an insanely attractive hone for the price though, aesthetics and hardware wise both. They know what they did there, they pulled one over on the techy guys with this phone.

My phone fell into an active cement mixer and became part of the concrete decking around an in ground pool. Had to buy one then and there from the closest place so i could stay in touch with the board members of the club during the project. Had no choice lmao. I haven't trusted motorola since Apple dropped them as their chip supplier in like 2007, but they were the only phones that didnt suck, that i had enough cash on me to buy lol.

That's probably what they tell you, in reality it probably sends all your information directly to the government so they don't have to work as hard to get it lol
