The Curious Case of the Cannabis Aphid

The first confirmed sighting of the cannabis aphid in North America was in 2016. Since then, the hungry bug has spread rapidly across the continent.

Here is what I have atm for pest control, I might have some other stuff outside as well.
Being that I have a bunch of plants outside as well as in, its almost inevitable that I will get some of those pests inside, either through me or the dog. But aphids will always be here had them when I grew hops as well. Only had mites once around 5 years ago, no pics but if I remember I think they looked like 2 spotted ones.

I can hit them with the soap.

Again I am not sure what those green worm type things are? Type of larva or infant caterpillar? And is that tiny white translucent thing a type of mite?
I have no problems spraying just not quite sure what they are, besides the aphids that is.

ok just so im clear. The first video is the real song from the cartoon, The entire version and not just the intro? I was seeing some goofy animation embedded into that video and I started tripping!!! Actually I do have hand tremors but not Parkinson's. It usually takes a few tries to get a good picture because I can't keep my phone totally still.....like ever. Even using two hands. It was comical trying to take the photo. Plant in my right hand, phone in my right pocket trying to get it with my left hand and shoot a one handed pic in a matter of seconds. Sadly that was the best pic.

That's exactly what it is a baby thripe. That picture is almost identical to what it looks like, and the baby aphids or nymph aphids that's exactly what the small bugs look like as well. So that's thripes and aphids not mites then.

So just a spray with insecticidal soap should be okay then. And again thanks everybody for the help. I didn't really notice them but my eyes are pretty weary

Nah its all good brother. I had a good friend back in the day who had Parkinson's. Far worse than my deal. No doctor has figured it out yet. Not Parkinson's, not Cerebral Palsey, not MS. The shakes are the least of my health issues. That's life man. Some would say I ain't never been right.

It sounds further along than my run was : ) aawwww I want some of that sticky icky icky!!!!! Are you going to update one of your threads with pics?

I ended up chopping all 3 down.
I'll throw some pics up before and after trimming.

The 2 bigger plants that were still taking a bit of water, still had some immature buds and green leaves on the lower parts of the plants. I really wanted those to mature but not at the cost of ruining the upper buds so I just harvested them all.

The foliage on these were crazy and had issues with air flow and light penetration. I ended up defoliating during Week 3 of Flower but the leaves grew back twice as thick.
I go back to me vegging to long, need to cut a couple weeks off.

I ended up putting supplement light at the bottom of the tent a few weeks ago to try and help it along, should of did it sooner I guess.
I don't waste the smaller immature buds, usually grind some of it in with the mature buds and smoke it anyways.

I'm sure I could use them to make something but haven't tried doing anything like making extracts or anything.

I'm trying out this AC Infinity Drying Rack, never used one before so we will see how it does.

Yes i had a bad feeling about it when i potted up. I really don't have problems until this time with her doing auto transplants i do it all the time with autos never had a problem. I put it outside sitting on a table in the sun. I could tell she got stunted she wasn't happy at all.

Can anyone tell me what's going on with my plants?
Yesterday was start of Week 13 of Flower.
I notice quite a few of my buds are starting to grow extra green bits with white pistils, never seen this happen to my plants before, especially this late in flower.

I have used similar style multi layered dryer before, once! My buddy let me get in on one of the levels. I would absolutely get one! : ) I really didn’t like my last dry and cure with the totes! It’s on the list : )

So you are thinking that supplemental lighting was helping just not placed in time? Thats something to get down earlier next time for sure, really curious about those end result : )

I know shit shrinks down after it dries a bit but thats a good looking haul in the hanger drier!

It happens to the best of us, you're not doing anything wrong.

I still have 3 seedlings that I planted at the same time as you that are even smaller than that, and the rest are doing fine. I just chalk it up to a dud seed or genetic mutation. Watch, it may just suddenly explode one of these days, but that's the problem with autos, it may not leave much time for veg at all and you'll end up growing a fat joint

Start another seed? You'd only be a couple weeks behind and it's not like we're playing for money or something. Just switch to 12/12 like 2 or 3 weeks or however long it has been, after we do, so it's still on the same allowance of time..

Oh and maybe try a photoperiod this time if can. I just hate autos personally I think they are *only* good for regions like Alaska where you don't get enough darkness or something for regular photos.
