That may be what I'm smelling, but it's hard to put my finger on it exactly.

That's funny.....when the plants go from gas to diesel to ? .......it's that smell that I cannot pinpoint.....

Describing the different smells is an art.....

I ran sensi northern lights last grow and 5 Nl5. None of them smell like lemon. One of the nl5 smell sweet but certainly not like lemon or citrus.

theres berry and citrus in some NL. The predominant genetic profile of NL is def afghani, but it's still a thai land race cross lol. The thai is a legendarily citrusy plant. In less than stable NL lineages you wont just get fruityness and berry sometimes, ive seen the odd sativa dom or two over the years and many NL recreation lineages.


I grew lots and lots of NL lineages and afghan lineages here in TN as a teenager lol. More of them than anything else.


But yea, legit NL is afghan indica x Thai sativa, and was run down successive generations into a stable, fast flowering indica dominant plant. Many are even surprised to find out NL is technically a thai sativa lineage, not just afghan. But an afghan x thai cross in general can give you almost any kind of plant that exists tbh. Theres several other legends bred from the same kind of afghan x thai lineage as NL too, that are wildly different from your typical NL phenotypes. Anything with thai in it's lineage, can potentially spit out the odd fruity plant though imo/e.

idek whats going on with TN's weather this year, im looking at another potential 2 weeks of temps in the upper 70s and sunny.

Shiva continues to smile upon this years south Appalachian grown cannabis 💚 I've never in my life had a season this good so far, knock on wood. Knock on wood haaaaard. Most of my flowers out there are looking like indoor runs.


My outdoor plants have had better budding weather recently then my indoor plants have 🤷‍♂️ 💚

I’ve bought sooooo many packs trying to nail that down from a ton Of banks. Yet to find it.

Idk but it's definitely not the same. And I bought White Rhino and Forbidden Fruit seeds at the same time. I consider myself a self taught expert on Forbidden Fruit. I'll know if it's the real thing here, soon. If it's not, boy am I going to write some strongly worded business letters 🤣 The white rhino seems legit so far, though. So we'll see!

If you are a fan of oldschool, and about as legit as it gets, i have a fem cross coming between this columbian nearly pure sativa giant and this suspected thai lineage fast flowering pure sativa in several weeks and i want guinea pigs lol. (If this is a little leggy for ya, i have a feminized F2 coming between her and the squatter #2 pheno, which is still a sativa dom, predominantly columbian in terp expression plant (its raunchy stank-face skunk-ass and a hint of pine atm)


The 100% authentic columbian lineage sativa (technically half columbian, but is predominantly expressing as the columbian pure sativa, is my own cross)
