Yeah I'm in the market for something bigger better . Keep looking around for options in addition to a fabric one . Still mixed on what size I should do . Hard for me to visualize what is best without seeing in personYa know i like them also. But this season has been so friggin dry an hot it's just harder to maintain the health of these plants. I drag them in an out under a shade tree. I did see a fella wrap wide white tape around his on the outside. I'll go to the dollar store see if i can find some.
Yeah waiting for the hubby to reinstall the doors on the porch with all the sun . Frame rotted . Right now my neighbors can see right on the porch with the doors down. Is why they are not out thereAnd this time of year, start taking note of the areas of your yard that continue to receive sunlight, the longest! Just in case you ever quit, moving them around! Just a suggestion!
Wow, they look great! And the weather couldn't be better! Just like ours. (wish it would last)(oh well)Hi farmers just a brief update on my tent with the 3 WW x PK photo crosses. I want to take the first 2 pics of the plants and twist an turn their branches like the 3rd pic. She is further along with branch length than those first 2. Yes i've had to remove some fans for the tiny paper clips i'm using for the branches to tie down but those will get thicker and longer and i'll use heavy shepards hooks when they do. Right now the newer bud sites are too short to play with and i don't want to remove leaf off those yet. Surface may look dry but it's damp under it. Temps are low 80s and humidity is 45%
Thanks cpurola it feels great outdoors. I just got back from a park with my dogs we all said lets go smell around the grass LOL. I got a bad habit with playing too much with my photos in the tent. It's like i need a sign posted saying keep your hands off for another week .Wow, they look great! And the weather couldn't be better! Just like ours. (wish it would last)(oh well)
Yes and the black plastic but i think the roots took a beating from the heat an pots. Well i sure hope we have a semi dry fall till harvest. We normally only get a little rain then warm sunny days it's beautiful here in the fall. Spring an fall are my favorite times of year here. Then the wet, cold winter comes around late November. But who knows anymore weather patterns have changed so much. You're almost at the finish line, Yay! Another whole month? Is your weather going to stay good 'til then?
And your poor leaves, at least there won't be alot of trimming. Do you think it's because of the heat?
That yellow color seems to me like a clear lack of nitrogen.Update on my outdoor grow. It's only in the low 90s and rest of the upcoming week will be in the 80s so it's looking better for all plants outdoors. My plants are still sucking out the leaves yellowing wilting and i'm constantly plucking those. Seems like 6 times a day i go out there see those yellowing limp leaves and knock them off. Otherwise i'm am pleased with the buds plumping and the branches filling in. Seeing more powdery trichomes now and smelling like a weed garden. I'm surprised to not see any bud worm damage yet but sure am glad i don't. I just wonder if those moths aren't more interested in my lavenders and russian sages all the other blooming salvias that's where i see them landing?? Along with the hundreds of honey bees and bumble bees. I just been lucky so far.
first 2 pics are the white widow x purple kush i'm really please with this cross she's quite small but she sure does have a strong branches. I did'nt top her was hoping for a 12" cola LOL ain't gonna get it but she'll be a stubby. Last 3 pics are the blueberry muffins. There doing fine despite the way they look LOL heck i'm happy just being closer to the finish line i'm thinking this time 10/7 will be close to harvest maybe sooner? Poor plants just took a beating all summer they are tough gotta say that. Not a pretty grow but they will be just fine to have cured.
Suggestions? I would lose the black plastic pots next year! Even though you love them! Just two cents!![]()
yes somethings need to change. I may just get another garden cart and grow less plants and put them in bigger fabric pots and cart them around without lifting/dragging these. I get about 2months in one side of the yard then after mid Aug. the sun hits the opposite side of the yard first and longest. I have huge tall cedar ( it's not in my yard it's a neighbors and we both hate it cause it's so wide and tall shades their garden also it's over $1,300 dollors to cut that thing down) that the sun gets shaded by an doesn't rise above it like early summer. I don't want inground plants i can't cover them from rain or sun without needing help and i don't want to ask for it. I'm so stubborn20gal light colour grow bag on base on wheels? old skateboards?
will stop cooking you roots in your weather conditions = less yellowing
ps: Gal- I didn't know you are so good in mainlining and hardcore stress training.
Very good job there. I can see you do enjoy it
I am the same in indoor. Can visit there for hours fiddling around![]()
You mean cut them?? I'm not gonna buck/cut them yet, imma gonna do some worm hunting stab them with my tooth pick sheesh ka bob them these are not coming down till they are ready. Ohhh and were supposed to get a couple days of rain starting Tues. so i will drag these under my patio.Buck up, farmer!![]()
Ohhhhhh i kinda figured you really did'nt mean chop them, but that's what they call bucking here as around your area also. Bucking trees, bucking hay, buck you at the zoooHell, no, I donβt mean cut them! I mean itβs time for you to rise to the occasion in this noble fight against pestilence! Good luck, sister!![]()
