Help with gnats in tent please

Day 54, 2 autos, one indica other sativa.
There are tiny flies in the soil, upon research they seem to be gnats. I've got a tub of cider vinegar and washing up liquid sat in each pot (no flies in them in 24 hours) I've ordered several things to try but don't know which is best, what can and can not be used together, or any order to do it in (see pics) I'm also waiting on sticky traps to put in there.
I'm having trouble with high humidity, internal fan and exhaust on maximum and several small fans running gets it to 50% at the lowest, it's been as high as 80%. Temp 20 to 25c / 68 to 77f.
I've ordered a small dehumidifier but it's not arrived yet.
No water for 36 hours so far.
I sprayed a little bug and aphid spray intended for roses on the soil.
I've got a fan directed at the soil.
This is only my 2nd grow, the last one wasn't good.

I use DE in all pot start ups. And would use that whole bag in a pot start up. Here is a pic of a 7 gal pot startup with Gaia Green and DE in the jar. No gnats.

Capt jacks dead bug is aces and dr zhymes you can use as a rootwash to kill eggs and larvae.

Bit is good. I've got them...hypoaspis miles or there's other soil mites too....lots of nematodes

I'm with you on this. I just sprinkle it directly on the soil. It's not a poison.

Yeah, misquito dunks (which is BT) work well, and you apply it to the soil, not sprayed on the plants.

So you're using it as a preventative rather than a cure? Good to know for next time.
Is it safe to use on any compost?
The best I can get for this is tomato compost, which does appear to be a little hot

I'll use it when they show up and or as a preventative. This stuff will basically shred whatever crawls over it. That also means it will hurt the good bugs.

That doesn't look like the gnats I normally deal with. I'm not sure, but that kinda looks like a leaf sucker. I could be wrong. Diatomaceous Earth applied generously to your soil and plants should at least cut the population down. I've only used DE to control any pest that crawls in my tent.

A dusting on the plant is all that's needed. It'll block light of applied to heavy. I'll really layer on the soil, though.

The mosquito bits have arrived and they've been soaking for an hour so far, I'm led to believe the longer they soak the better so maybe best to wait til tomorrow?
The hydrogen peroxide also arrived today.
Should I use the hydrogen peroxide now while the diatomaceous earth hasn't arrived and the mosquito bits aren't ready?
Is hydrogen to be sprayed on the soil only or on the plant too?
The sticky traps have caught a few so far.

Quite possible. No matter the bug, DE should help. I'm sure other suggestions would work too. I've never had to try them out. I found this stuff and researched how it works. After comparing it to my other options in price, availability and indoor safety, I decided it was my most feasible option. I've also known old farmers that would use it on all of their gardens. The biggest negative, for me, is where it comes from. That was almost a deal breaker until I realized that I've been using the same bag since my first legal grow 2 years ago.

To me it looks like a fungus gnat. I've had them and they suck. Letting the medium dry in between watering helped a little. I've sprinkled DE on the top of soil and used stickies to catch the rest. But when you water the DE washes away.

Might have to do it a few times. I don't believe they can cause much damage but I'm new so I could be wrong.

I read that once the surface soil dries, they go deeper and can attack the root, I believe the damage to the plant comes from diseases getting into the roots where the gnats have opened it up, but I'm also a beginner so ...

I've had the sticky traps in for 3 days and I've let it dry, I used peroxide yesterday and there do seem to be a lot less.

I've added a dehumidifier and another fan yet the humidity hasn't lowered at all

Ground up exoskeletons, right?
The hydrogen peroxide seems to have helped, I used that yesterday.
I'll use the mosquito bits either late tonight or tomorrow morning so it's not getting too wet again, then maybe regular usage of the DE to keep on top of it.
On the next grow I'll try using DE all the way through the grow.
