Yes. That was the idea this year. I rarely use the bottom half of the plant, so I only grew top buds. First time going this extreme, but they breathe pretty well.

No diseases I've noticed, and my first outdoor grow since I was in my early 20s (64 now).

I think my girls are going to turn any day now…
They are starting to splay open… (Spreading open) Telling me... come on I’m ready... take me… I’m guessing it’s because of the weight of the buds has increased... bending the stems towards the ground... pretty sure it's not from being wet.. No substantial rain in weeks..
Now I have to figure out how I’m gonna wash and dry these girls... on my last grow… I was basically overwhelmed with the amount of buds and the trimming involved… small compared to all of you outside growers… It might be because I just get bored easy … . I could barely fit them in the tent properly to dry them. This my first outside grow and it looks like it’s gonna need a good part of the bedroom to hang and dry them in. Interested in seeing how you seasoned growers setup and prepare for the process of drying and trimming. I'm starting preparations already.
Tomorrow, should be my last time to spray them down with fungus deterrent.. hopefully keeping any type of fungus at bay.
I think most of us with drought conditions are going to have the best grow of their lives.
Coming to the end of this grow I realized one serious mistake I've made... that most likely could of doubled the output.. won't do that next year...

Drizzled a bit, nothing im worried about tho. Buds didnt even dip.

This has been my best run to date outside. One for the books.
Knock on wood I haven't lost a single flower on a single plant to any fungi yet. I haven't even had to spray my big sativa girls for bugs or mold either one since mid summer.
They've had many chilly dewy mornings. But warm auburn fall sun to follow every day so far.

I shut down one of my bathrooms. It's a 6' x 7' space, has an air vent to control temperature. I installed drywall anchors to screw hooks into and I run line from those to the shower door frame on the other side. Then I set up a humidifier and a couple of small fans and it seems to work pretty well. I'll be posting pics in a week or two when mine are chopped down.

Im in the eastern mountains around 37 degrees north. At least this season I'm not jealous of the westerners. Not one bit lol. Eternal sun is in Michigan

Long as your South of the Canadian border really, it's more a matter of the right genetics for your area then anything else tbh.
All my plants def don't look like these do. And that's why these are the lineages I'll be moving forward with outdoor here in the future.

I’m guessing for us guys in the mid Atlantic states we are going to get more or less the same weather as the forecast below... so far I've been lucky as well as any other cannabis growers nearby... but you know luck... it runs out...

The girls (buds) are hard on top softer a foot down ... This is this third or 4 generation of clone, and at this point when they start putting on Amber, it comes in heavy and fast … ( wow.. rings a bell, heard that before, while ago... hmm ) I really don’t want more than 15% Amber
I started cleaning up the wash equipment... going to use a kitchen trashcan for final rinse. There a pretty good chance I’ll be cutting her down in the rain or shortly their after.
So my process will be:
Cut all main branches to a length 2 to 3 feet... basically cut them in half cause right now they’re about 5 to 6… Do the clean thing hang them up outside on the clothesline... wait for a break in the rain and blow them off gently with a leaf blower.. when they’re not dripping anymore, I’ll take them to the room with the dehumidifier... set it at 60% humidity… It’s heavy duty… I estimate it will pull all surface wetness off in four to five hours, maybe less.
I welcome anybody to critique my initial plan and suggest a substitute … Thanks to all for the advice
