How Is your weather? What’s left of that hurricane messing with you? Hope not!
dude...

i have 45mph sustained 75mph gusts, couple trees already down, most plants broken at the stalk. Rough day. Glad i started pulling the other night

My only plant looking like itll make it through this is PB3, and mainly because it still has 3-4 weeks to go.

There was another bud showing rot this morning so Granddaddy Purple Ultraviolet got the top 5 feet chopped.

I added a place to hang branches to the trim set up. Trim falls directly into the box below. The advantage is there are 2 hands to trim, one to hold the leaf the other to chop.

The shots I've seen in Georgia show places totally under water. Really nasty !

Good luck with trim jail while trying to recover from everything else needing attention.

My house is shaking rattling and groaning.

Lost some shingles too by the chimney. Yay.

I have probably 4 pounds hanging to dry. That's estimated dry weight. 😭

Good problem to have though I suppose. Got a 15x5 net with 6 inch squares crammed full in the basement hung across the ceiling, plus all this up in the kitchen

Could be worse. Bit early on some. Pretty ripe for others.

My season til now has been so perfect though, the flower is pretty much indoor quality. Very satisfied tbh

The roof is gonna be a bitch. Gonna have to redo part of the driveway. Get some trees bucked up and hauled to the fire pile.

LOL now you know why us old foks grow small plants now a days.
wouldnt have been that big a deal if there wasnt a freak storm, wouldnt have felt overwhelming at all. id be harvesting a couple plants a week between now and thanksgiving. Every single plant i have out there was unique lol.

Was gonna take colas as they ripened but leave canopies and harvest top down etc.

I'd say it hasn't been nearly as bad as predicted. That's a good thing. Count your blessings.
here its actually been a little bit worse than predicted. Higher winds, more rainfall then expected. the bottom of my driveway is completely washed out and ive lost several trees now. Thje driveway isnt just gonna be washed out by the time its done either. Its currently washing away entirely. the culvert clogged and everythings going over the top now. Almost took me off my feet trying to cross for that damn dehumidifier from my sister lmao. (stupid risk to take, but payed off 😅)

All events at the club cancelled til further notice though. Beyond the events im just grounds staff. At least i have a week off during harvest lmao

I must be looking at the wrong area for you. Remember you saying something about your driveway last time it rained really heavy. Be careful & fix that asap. Clogged covert only exasperates the problem. Glad you are okay and your home has minimal damage. Being on a hill helps. Sorry about the trees. Glad you were able to harvest a lot of your plants too and now have time to deal with them.
