If you let someone stay on your property, not in your house, they have their own RV, and you do not charge them rent to stay there and you tell them they are not allowed to bring people you do not know onto your property, are you the asshole for not letting them have visitors or are they the assholes for not respecting your wishes and continually bringing strangers onto your property?

Because it's simple little things like that, that are all I ask for. And apparently that seems to be asking too much from these people

Thanks dude and yeah like I don't want to have to be an asshole about it but seriously I don't think it's so much to ask when you're not even charging them rent. My grandmother lived in apartments where ALL visitors even family have to register and get permission from the office and nobody can stay longer than 2 days if they are allowed at all.. And this wasn't something they weren't told before I let them move on my land they were told and accepted this rule well before.

Yeah they're becoming more trouble than they're worth I mean it was supposed to be mutual we help them by giving them a place to live and they help us by helping with chores and stuff around the ranch and watching the place while we are gone but lately there hasn't been much "help" from them at all

If you let them stay and they received mail it may be legal battle to get them removed. The homeless have been doing stuff like this for years. My brother had the cops asking who owned the cell phone tower. They cut the bars and had a hand written note saying they could say there. The cops couldn’t remove them from the property until they were able to contact the owner. They are also doing the same thing people’s houses when they leave on vacation. Some states it seems they have more rights.

If they aren't paying you, man, I would kick them the fuck out quick smart, you are being very kind to them. If that is how they show their appreciation for your generosity then you should generously show them the door, and your boot too while you are at it, you're not growing apples are you? That's an insult. There is a reason you made that request and they ignored it. You are definitely NOT the asshole. What they did was rude and crosses a line when you have not charged them.

Not paying you rent = Favour with a massive price tag, how much could you be charging them per week to park their living vehicle?
NOT inviting over strangers = Favour that costs them nothing, but they don't do it, wonder why that is?
