I think there’s one big part of my issue is man. I’m not accepting the facts and that seems to be catching up with me. You know it’s like I’m still super young mentally but my body just can’t cope with that shit. Really it was holy avoidable. this season has changed a lot of my growing perspectives.

One of those changes, is that i think i prefer trim jail to sorting and de-shaking seeds to make them legal to mail.

i keep males around in clones i constantly cut back to the lowest growth node lol

The Haymeadow selected male prob gonna be around for a minute as my indica pollen donor. Even light deprived and half-starved he's a very handsome fella. He grows glandular trichomes on his petals when he gets on into heavy flower too lol. Pretty heavily. Dude looks like a lady if you let him grow a bit.

I really like this plant. It's a joy to grow. Has an mild earth, sweet, and non specifically fruity smell, but I love it.

The plant has vibes. Reminds me of many things I can't quite put my finger on.

Reaaaaaally digging the non shrinky trichomes too. Haven't seen that before They just kinda get closer together as the flower dries, they don't get much smaller. Hoping that's an implication of resin content.

Can't wait to try it. Plants like that are why I grow. She's still going strong to finish too. That's just a bit of a sample. The hand was forced lol

Yeah, we all do the same. Brain thinks we're still 25 or 30 when we should be careful how we get up out of chairs and definitely when we sneeze my back has been on fire for 2 weeks now and I still insist on doing everything that needs doing

I stopped skipping steps going up last summer for damn good reason. My ankle still hurts sometimes. The boot is in my closet lmfao. Was a good early warning im getting old enough for stuff to hurt forever i think.

Thinkin about giving the male to a buddy @smallz6714 and goin kahuna x both kahuna females and bank some seeds I’ll just flower the male early (asap) and collect pollen I’ll give it another week and see if it shows any pistils

once the females start stacking good you can just throw him or a clone in there til he busts a couple nuts and yank him. Let the air circulate for a day, then spray everything down with h202 solution and fan dry. long as theres no pollen present as they set their structure and start stacking youll end up with fat buds you cant even see seeds in. Theyll all be deep set near the stems, fat dark and dank by harvest and youll still get the full flower quality in the end too. Plenty of seeds, but even more dank flower. You just dont want more then a few nut to bust before yanking. the pollen will circulate on its own with the fans.

Im thinking i nailed the timing on the colloidal spray on the maui branch for that .

I’m gunna do a selective pollination I’ll flower the male early and collect and let the females veg, made up the new 36x42” scrog table (had some new ideas but I’ll change it next time it’ll be cool though I promise lol) just wanna get that kahuna male x kahuna female cross made and I’ll hit a few branches for sure maybe 60 get seeds per pheno if my buddy wants the male Kona 86’ (if it is in fact a male it’s not 100% yet) he has a few of caps seeds as well he can cross it to, he grew out a clone of the cali blues as well looked exactly like mine

I’ll do a Kona hunt later got. A bunch of those seeds as well to mess with looking for a winner pheno to be my all day smoke might reveg the Frostette she’s huge but I’ll chop her root ball back to a gallon pot and start her over we’ll see it’s hard to let her go haha scared I’ll wanna do that with the (GP x okie )x cement shoes as well if she turns out fire lol

If one of the phenos of the kahunas really shows out it’ll be a reveg as well I’ll leave some lower branches to rely on later in case

It’s so tedious dude it really does suck. It hurts my eyes man you know so I’d much rather just scoop up. What I know is going to be the majority of like good beans and just roll with that. I know there’s gonna be some thugs but fuck it you know. ?

i made like 25 crosses lol. Or something stupid like that. And most seem like ones im gonna want to hunt too. My keepers far outweighed my cull phenos this grow. I cant decide which mothers to roll with and thats gonna get a whole lot worse once i start popping the next gen of beans. i do have a little cup of abou50 beans labeled "chop suey" lol. The amount of pedigree in that chop suey cup is a thing of legend. Someone's gonna get that cup.
