Well, you’re gonna have to start two or three times as many to come up with some females! And sometimes getting them to pop is like getting a coconut to pop! Bone up on your germinating skills! Lol! Poekie Is good at germinating, so we can always rattle his cage!

Thats crazy. We’re not far from each other as the crow flies and I got 20+” in that last sky river! Got enough water for the next two winters in three freaking days! Crazy

I’ve never hunted them when I was out in Alberta it’s tuff to get drawn for 1 it takes many years to be one of the lucky hunters to be drawn but what I loved to do was mess with the domesticated ones in farm yards work work work and watch them react then a loud gobble gobble to really mess with them so much fun but they are dumb

Must be pretty scarce that far north, if you have to get drawn!

People feed them up here so they are “somewhat domesticated” you see them in the road you just gotta wait for them to move because they have lost their fear of vehicles🙄 we call them the local politicians 🤣 and gobble at them as we or they go by!hahahaha!!! The kids love it! lol!

Yeah, ground squirrels have taken running into the road to the point of being suicidal! It’s like they wait for a car to come! And nobody brakes for them, because they cause so much damage! I think they are a major food source for vultures!
