Happy Friday Farm! Hope everyone is planning something great this weekend

Is this your photo!? You hike there? my wife and I have been into back packing and are trying to get the kids into backpacking! We just day hike for now : ) the four year old is only good for a few miles in and out and thats with a shit ton of water breaks, snack breaks, and “oh look at that” breaks! lol!

Either I took that or it’s a photo from my friend Chip. It’s been so long that I can’t remember That’s a little town called Keysville. If you like backpacking check out the Kern River Valley. We have some of the best trails in California. The one we like to hike is the 7 Teacups in Springville.

The Pacific Crest Trail goes through here too. Every crazy under the Sun who hikes it ends up walking along the 178 out here with their thumb out in the wind

It’s a cool pic! It looks like a really cool spot! Magical : )

I have heard of kern river valley! We will absolutely make it out that way in another year or two. We are beyond blessed to be like an hour and a half away for Lassen volcanic national park! We can get a good “adventure” out of the day without really torturing the kids too badly!

Nice! If you’re looking for a good place to stay during your adventure, Kernville is amazing and right on the river at the heart of most of the trails. You’ll have a blast and there’s tons of stuff to do for kids.

OMG I lost my keys at Harvey’s one night when we were staying in the Tahoe Keys. It was quite the ordeal trying to find them because I didn’t realize it until we had returned to our rental!!

OMG I lost my keys at Harvey’s one night when we were staying in the Tahoe Keys. It was quite the ordeal trying to find them because I didn’t realize it until we had returned to our rental!!

Sounds like an adventure! Hahaha! I’ve spent a lot of time up in Tahoe summer and winter! Love that area! I just wish the elites would stop building those ugly ass mansions on the beaches! : ) let the locals live!!!!!

I agree with that. That entire area needs to worry less about developing and more about filling all of the vacant rental homes. It’s really sad how many homes sit completely empty all year round.

The one thing I HATE about having pets is their short life spans. We lost Ginger (orange and white) a few months ago and now Trudy has lost bladder control at night and we're having to wash sheets and blankets almost every day. I carry her to the kitchen every morning for breakfast which I just did. She can still get around without issue but that's just become our thing every morning and as I bend down to pick her up off the bed she puts her paws on my shoulder.

We've set up a box with a pillow and plastic under that for her to sleep in but she loves crashing on us and being under the covers.

She's about 15 now and we'll keep her as long as we can. She doesn't seem to have any pain(s) and again gets around just fine hopping up on the bathroom counter and in the window but we know she's coming to her end

Better days. We've got video of her scooping hard food out of the box

and when her dish would get low she'd sit in it

She is the gentlest cat I've ever known. Not the smartest, she's our special kitty but we call her our love kitty.

I love animals more than most people. We lost two dogs a week apart right before we moved. It is unfortunate that they don’t live longer and it’s really hard watching them get old.

losing a pet is one of the most painful things you can endure imho. condolences to you and your family...
