Yeah that makes all the sense! I know my personality all to well and ill be keeping trim with no trichs “just for a rainy day” in a paper shopping bag!but realistically ill be trying to use anything that is frosty! ( I think im dealing with seeds
) so I’ll be having to process the process just to press all the finished product! im looking at screens for this “process” also. I’m definitely looking forward to dust collection on the under trays though!
thanks for your info!

g'evening fam, hope everyone is making it through monday ok...
it now seems that these characters are invading my head space and are
are demanding to have a voice. i'll introduce the main characters to you
here in this thread along with random different bs posts, then develop
them in a separate thread called "story time with florida mike" or some
stupid shit like that. follow along or not at your own perils. this may work
it's way into a cool little yarn; or it may fall flat and implode.
either way ima have fun with it while it lasts
i'll try to uodate weekly or bi-weekly
no promises
if you like it cool, if you don't... well then:
fuck you!

Man I've been watching some of these hydro grows I've NVR seen it done in person I'm still on my first Indoor run but I'd love to maybe try one hydro plant next run is there a cheap simple setup I could run or is this stuff crazy expensive?this is getting outta hand. getting quite heavy and difficult to lift out...
it can be a little cost prohibitive up front, but if you already have some of main equipment, not too bad i suppose. i've changed up my plans a dozen times at least. my final version now will be one plant in ea side of 4x8, ea sitting over a 20gal home-de-pot mud mixing tub ($25) and a 1" styro-board as a lid for the rockwool uni-slab to sit on (with a 1x4 "containment" ring around it. the 5gal bucket i have atm is really only good for mother plants. i'll dm you a parts list to give you an idea of some of the equipment needed. hope it helps -peace-Man I've been watching some of these hydro grows I've NVR seen it done in person I'm still on my first Indoor run but I'd love to maybe try one hydro plant next run is there a cheap simple setup I could run or is this stuff crazy expensive?

The interesting and confounding issue for us growers is that the moths pick the healthy plant.Plants make sounds when stressed. Who knew?
Interesting study how a moth chooses which plant to lay its eggs.

So you should set up a constant loop of that sound and play it in your outdoor garden. Unless plants are empathetic, then you’d have a symphony of crying plants. The interesting and confounding issue for us growers is that the moths pick the healthy plant.
"For female moths, deciding where to lay their eggs is serious business. Their babies need a healthy plant with plenty of food to survive. Dr. Seltzer and her team put this to the test. They set up an experiment with two tomato plants. One was hydrated and quiet. The other was also healthy but playing recorded “cries” from a stressed tomato plant. Guess what? The moths flocked to the quiet plant.
This shows that moths don’t just hear these clicks. They also figure out what they mean. They’re saying, “Thanks for the warning, stressed-out plant. We’ll pass.”
