hey fam,

a few clones are looking sad, they wilted over within 8hrs. i had 4 bottle caps between the tray & heat mat; i removed them & within another 8hrs, the wilted ones stiffened back up & the tops turned back to the light. i know, i know, i'm using an antiquated method, but i used to hit 100% consistently. i will prolly lose some of these (they were a little weaker than i'd prefer), i took 13 and as long as 5 make it i'll be golden (4 to flower in my 4x8 and 1 for a mother plant).

i added my extra reservoir after a good 3hr flush today. it has a small leak around 1 grommet that i have slowed to barely a trickle; it should seal itself within a few hrs (1st bucket did the same thing. i have some better "top hat" grommets ordered just in case. i will only add 1-2 gallons of nutes at a time until i know fer sure that the leak is fixed.

the things i'd change (so far) if i was going to use this to regularly flower plants: i'd 1) i'd use a bigger connecting pipe (i'll know after i see how bad the roots try to clog it.) 2) i'd move the water pump to the res bucket; i would do it now, but it'll be a real pain in the ass. if that pump quits or gets too bolcked, i'll just unplug it and put a new pump in the res bucket. 3) i'd use better quality air stones. 4) i'd use a 3.5gal bucket of clay balls instead of the rock-wool mini-slab. 5) prolly use an air-lift and water ring rather than the water pump.

if anyone knows any hacks to stop grommets from leaking, please share.

I love the bay but I’m staying away from the San Andreas Fault. That thing is gonna tear the earth open one day and people will be visiting the island of San Los Angeles Diego Obispo off the coast of Coachella for spring break.

I found seeds in some dispensary weed, and popped em. I liked the bud they came from. Very creative and uplifting high. Great daytime smoke. I’m definitely more into Sativas than Indica until after dinner, then I’m all about the heavy eye lids relaxing buzz.

Me too. My wife came back from Sonoma today and brought a bunch of edibles and RSO. Popped 2 25mg RSO OG tablets and I’m going to be an extension of my couch for the rest of the night.

But wife knows I’ve been wanting to try hydro for awhile now, been looking at some serious systems but I think I’m too tied to organic, wife was at the point today she just said you do whatever you want You’ve been killing yourself just do it if you want to knowing what I’m looking at was a $2200 fully enclosed 4 pot RDWC system. I almost bought it but I decided I’d rather stay organic plus that’s some big coin to drop just to try something new, so I believe instead I will go with 2x 3x3 grassroots living soil beds for the 4x8 and possibly a 4x4 living soil bed or another 3x3 bed

They have a great 4x8 bed as well but I think it’ll be too difficult to control humidity and I think that would completely take out summer grows indoors for me if basically be maintaining cover crop all summer maybe throw in some herbs etc but yeah I’m leaning twords the 3x 3x3 beds really
