Still have one hangin in the lab other one I donated to a family member to start up with, now he’s rockin 3x FD6500’s in a 10x10

While I’m not a fan of blurples and they are always hot, and loud triple 120 fans in each of those at 100% speed

They did alright by me got some solid yield off them on the first run before I started upgrading lights

I miss the crazy pictures that I would get when those lights were on.

Basil plant in the far right and bottom left have been being pulled from for over 6 months figured the wife was due for a fresh one but won’t throw away the 2 older ones lol

The shit hit the fan about 20 years ago with a mine in Montana that had a deposit that was contaminated and a bunch of people in town got hit with asbestos related illnesses. The vermiculite you buy today is asbestos free.

It’s similar to the “popcorn lung” associated with vaping, it originated because they butter extract used used to get aerosolized during popcorn making in the factory workers, the same butter extract is used for making vape juice.nobody has ever gotten “popcorn lung” from vaping, So it was one of those big hype things for awhile I have some of the butter extract it was sent to me from a member on an old e-cigarette forum I frequented (ECF forum) I never used it, it’s still in the e cig cabinet flavorings though, it’s fine if eaten, it’s when it’s inhaled it’s when it’s bad

Wife has been stealing all my flavorings for baking lol, (my flavorings are food grade flavorings intended for baking but are used in vape juice because they are suspended in propylene Glycol, the other half of the mix from vegetable glycerin which is what produces the “vapor clouds” the higher the VG the bigger the clouds, higher the PG the bigger the throat hit, more peppery, those old vape cloud comps were people running 100% VG juice with 0 nic

Vermiculite is for retaining water not releasing it lol

I’d put it somewhere between coco and peat as far as it’s willingness to hold moisture goes, but both coco and peat hold their ph steady better time

I recently switched to coir from verm for mushroom casing layers (pretty much all I used verm for) when I found out verm isn’t a renewable resource. But found out even more terrible things about verm today lol
