I was already leaning towards a black period so we may have a winner there. The parlors are looking a lot better over this finish than the tortoise. At least the colors I already have hereEither black or silver tortoise on the pick guard.
I can see my Maui in the leaves and the special queen in the structure on the sq crossView attachment 2348609View attachment 2348610View attachment 2348611View attachment 2348612View attachment 2348614View attachment 2348615View attachment 2348616Several of these were showing signs a magnesium deficiency. I mixed up Epsom salt, and calcium. I think I am getting root bound already.
It’s got a great finish and the color is great. I build strats still from time to time. Fun stuffI was already leaning towards a black period so we may have a winner there. The parlors are looking a lot better over this finish than the tortoise. At least the colors I already have here

Finally caught back up. Almost anyway.
make that 1" depressions in my green traysi've only sprayed twice, once when i put them in there and once when i tried to murder them with the cold. there is an inner rack that keeps the cubes suspended about and inch above the bottom. the whole bottom consists of 1.5" round depressions that are kind of interconnected with little channels.
i keep about a 1/4" inch of water (now 420ppm nutes) in them which combined with the heating pad keep it 100% rh and 85f in there. when the roots take off and i don't catch it they will not hit dry, warm plastic. i use a syringe to give them 20ml @ a time.

Beautiful guitar….I’m a Strat man at heart.
This one’s a mostly scratch build I did a couple years ago over the course of a year. Flamed sapele body (not a top) flame roasted maple neck and pu gerrod fingerboard. This one’s my pride and joy. Used mostly hand tools everywhere I was able. Satin oil finish.
Very proud of it so I show it off whenever someone gives me the opportunity lmao

I don’t think I’m going to finish the 2024 trim jail until 2025 lmao.
So about 10 days into flower ish, say flip oct 1st she’d still be about 12 weeks, i think I have a much faster pheno, must be leaning twords the Frostette side, cola structure as well, but cola appearance, that’s where she took a twist she’s got those lime green pistils that looks wild as hell, defenitly seeing some cal def on the kahuna 2 this morning backed the SE3000 down to 85% that’s a crazy strong light, I’m running 600w over pheno 3 and pheno 2 was at 300w and backed her down to about 250, and she’s about 8” farther from the light too, pheno 3 can take the beatingYeah you were def right to question that timing
Woops
This is her on oct 11
Just starting to show pre flower
@Mikedin
I got this Sarsparilla, tested at 30% that finished in 51 or 52 days and I'm planning on growing nothing elseSo about 10 days into flower ish, say flip oct 1st she’d still be about 12 weeks, i think I have a much faster pheno, must be leaning twords the Frostette side, cola structure as well, but cola appearance, that’s where she took a twist she’s got those lime green pistils that looks wild as hell, defenitly seeing some cal def on the kahuna 2 this morning backed the SE3000 down to 85% that’s a crazy strong light, I’m running 600w over pheno 3 and pheno 2 was at 300w and backed her down to about 250, and she’s about 8” farther from the light too, pheno 3 can take the beating
She’s frosting up even more, but about 10 days later than Frostette traditionally does at 40, but she’s defenitly into ripening now, I’ve pulled Frostette from day 54 to 76 and prefer abut 65ish on average, here in week 8 she’s lookin like a 9 weeker maybe 9.5 possibly 10
I never back down in stages always straight from 18/6 to 12/12 I’d rather have a plant I know I can quick flip and hammer down on without fear of herming it, when I get good phenos like that they are the ones I keep aroundI’ve gone straight to 12/12 from 18/6 plenty of time with no problems at all.
Has been hydro though.
mine is hydro also. she's never seen less than 24 until 3 days ago.I’ve gone straight to 12/12 from 18/6 plenty of time with no problems at all.
