Mapex? No idea. I’m not sure if he does either. It’s been modified and I don’t see a brand anywhere. Sounds good tho. Beautiful shells. Definitely mahogany at least on the outer ply. Looks like an open pore oil finish too. Loving that Little pearl m80...

Little pearl m80 snare. LOVE the snare lol

Oh yeah. Shells used to be works of art. Some still are but when you see em, grab em.

I’m looking at the Zep reissue kit from Ludwig right now. Growing weed and slappin’ skins. I’m an amazing neighbor 😁
Im a total sucker for mahogany. Am thrilled with em. Many thanks to Mr @Rama777

Betty Lou is cruising right along and starting to stack up nicely.
It'll be a miracle if I'm able to finish her. I'm having to add water
manually every 3-4 hrs. All while fighting wild ppm & ph swings.

the seedlings were micro topped a few hrs ago. The Hash Plant
with the worst clawing now appears to be stunted. Lights are at
20% and some plants are now praying, wanting more light.

It's very aggravating not being able to pinpoint & correct the
problem. 90% sure it has to do with roots & oxygenation. No
tips are dying, they're just hooking and slowing the plant down.
They otherwise look healthy.

What if you put Betty Lou's roots into a bigger bucket?
(I'm sure you probably already thought of that) LOL

Hey bro, I think you might be on to something. I've been thinking
bigger bucket, when I should be thinking big rectangle as in tote
or big cooler. My other problem is she's only 8" from the lights,
so it can't be any taller than a 5 gal bucket. 👊👍

*edit to add: Something like this Husky tote

thanks for getting me to think "inside the box" homie!

So while searching for the cause of my leaf clawing issue,
I read somewhere that people put coco mats under their
rockwool slabs to give the roots more space to grow into.
The coco mat is covered with Panda plastic; with individual
holes cut for the slabs or cubes.
Maybe a good idea if it doesn't hold too much water. I
may try it next cycle.

I'm also needing recommendations for good reliable air
stones or rings that actually work, I just haven't had any
luck. Mine all just leak around the glue, no matter if i pre-
soak them or not.
