Yeah what BB said. I’ve heard about the “bad routes/ trip advice” thing. But still you’d think they were maybe “ hey guys do you really think we should be doing this?”Right. But my hang up still rests with whatever dumba** decided to go during the winter. There had to be at least one person who questioned that decision but went with it nonetheless.
That is amazing.Well if you do get your kids instrument lessons, let me share a story..
My kid WANTED to take piano lessons. I was ultra excited and he was too, for all of maybe 2 lessons. He quickly discovered that relative to what we listen to, he sucked and wasn’t gonna be able to do anything legitimately cool anytime soon so he wanted to quit. I’d drive him to the next few lessons with him bawling in tears about how much he didn’t want to go. He was so incredibly angry at me. Total freak outs.
So I got on some piano teaching forums and reddits and shit and ALL the advice out there said do NOT force your kids to take lessons if they hate it.
So what did I do with that new information? I told him that he was never going to have a choice in the matter. I was never going to let him quit no matter if it made him hate me and that he would thank me for it someday.
He never cried about it again having removed any semblance of an option and he continually thanks me for not letting him quit. 2 plus years in to his weekly lessons and he’s a fucking badass musician. He’s already played live in front of hundreds of people and is more proud of his playing than anything else..
Oh and I never once made him practice, sort of contrary to what you may have expected from my approach ;)
I live in the mountains. You cannot miss them. Especially those mountains. Someone had to raise their hand at some point.Yeah what BB said. I’ve heard about the “bad routes/ trip advice” thing. But still you’d think they were maybe “ hey guys do you really think we should be doing this?”
That first sentence was for the video you posted! My high ass got it all on the wrong response post!![]()
Great story/ advice! My 12 year old would eat it up I think. The 7 year old would fight tooth and nail but loves to bang the keys at grandmas house. So he’d come around, or not haha.Well if you do get your kids instrument lessons, let me share a story..

Dumbass kid when this released . The good old days
Same here in the US $14-$17 a pack for marbs and newports etc yeah $170 a carton… oh plus taxAs a resident of BC, I heard this on the news as well. Was I surprised? Not at all. You see more people smoking the Mohawk ciggies than commercial brands. This isnt just BC, but Canada wide. And it is the governments own fault. By taxing the living shit out of tobacco.
- $25/pack for chemically adulterated dog shit - Gobbermenmt
- $5/pack for all natural tobacco - Mohawk
Which are you gonna buy?
If you havent noticed, the government stopped using the argument that smokers are a burden on the healthcare system. If they did, they would have to explain where millions of $$$$ went. Well, we all know some of that money bought Taylor Swift tickets while Montreal was burning.
Well he wanted to, problem is Biden set the Ban date for… today before trump is president, then he (Biden) told the ISP’s he wouldn’t collect on the $5000 per user fine (for 170 million usersI heard that Mr T was going to put a 90 day deal on that ?![]()
To me it isint abut the ban. Its the level they did it at, and that’s a bit unnervingI’m going to enjoy the hell out of this TikTok ban. And just like that, a whole bunch of people have nothing to do in life anymore. Let the meltdown begin!![]()
