Ok so I got the bright idea to load my pots minus the plants and water them in to see how the dry back period will be and to give me more time to study up on the “promix” style of growing medium… almost had you going didnt I!? hahaha! I DIDNT DO ANY OF THAT! just went straight head first and cant even see a foot in the water this round! shits about to get hairy my friends! They got watered in with water and recharge.

2gals will be here tomorrow for the cali blues but they wont be getting up potted for for a while.

And last two pics. Is something eating my plant!? There’s no other growth that looks like that in the room from any other plants or even anywhere else on the plant in question. Either way shits getting blown up with some Captain jacks dead bug brew in another day or two.

Thanks man! I’ve been putting A LOT more time and effort into these! I was so overwhelmed with my first run and then a little less my second and now this run im feeling confident enough to put some focus on things! It’s feeling really good, even though things aren’t perfect, I use the term perfect as a relative to me experience hahaha. Perfect to me would be some good lookin plants with no hiccups along the way. Also im not going to lie… if one doesnt have the experience to just “Johny green thumb” this shit your yields really do suffer, and that’s something im experience now. So im really trying to keep the plants as happy as possible to get that yield off them in the end.

Can't say as I've ever seen this b4 (except on buds). Something seemed off with these
clones that I just couldn't put my thumb on. The stems on these giant leaves,
on the King Louis XIII x Scott OG clones, are only like 1 inch long (or less). I know
the leaf stems on buds get stubby, but not in mid veg. (I've been looking closely at
these for a week and this just dawned on me tonight)

I hit my plants with a lil dose of Recharge tonight. I use to do that weekly but haven’t been doing it much lately. How often are you using it with your plants?

I try and only use it “once a week” per the directions but have used it more within that week time frame.

Got the two gallons today. Im going to put two plants in them tomorrow that are in solos and aren’t doing that hot. Everything ALWAYS does better once they’re out of the solos.

Got the flower/veg wall almost complete as far as it’s going to be for now. Eventually it will get stick frame and a real door! : ) but by tomorrow ill be able to flip the plants that are staying, so maybe ill work on building the cloner this weekend, because everything is going to be needing cut soon!

I reintroduced nutes to the plants that are staying for flower and my dumbass also gave the plants that are going back into the veg. Oh well, they got a little pk extra hahaha.

And a final thought of the post, on the newly potted plants in the premix stuff, WOW! Thats some weird shit! Hahaha! It’s kind of drying out but still wet? The plants in it look freaking happy as could be so im going to just roll with it for now

Sunday sore day! All weekend tinkering in the shed. Got stuff all stitched up (for now) with a flipped to 12/12 flower room and a bonafide veg room with all sorts of shit going on in there LOL!!! Thats all I got for now. You get pics though! : ) all plant pics taken this afternoon!

things are moving along. Went out to water the train wrecks but decided to give them one more day, which ill then water all the other stuff vegging. The cali blues got some water yesterday and today (im terrible at seedlings) onward ho! Currently smoking on some XX : ) shits 10 times better in all ways from my last run! I topped almost everything but the seedlings in the veg space two days ago? It’s written down lol. All pics are from yesterday!

Alright here I am in the correct spot of the forum for posting a dairy (Thank you to the helpful members). !DISCLAIMER! I ramble at times and am easily distracted! And if I ever read as if I’m high as shit, I more than likely am. With that said Ill try and keep this thread on track and as intelligent as I can HAHAHA!

So as my intro on the other thread stated, I’m not completely new to growing but very new to solo indoor runs. The strains I have chose to go with are XX and Raskals OG non fem photoperiod. They are currently soaking, and will do so for about another 5 hours at which point ill get them in their paper towel germination station (grow container for pods with the plastic top and the pod organizer removed on a heat mat). From there the seedlings will be going into Fox farms Light Warrior with a blend of worm castings ONLY, i may or may not add some perlite to the entire mix to make it “lighter”.

Onto the “growing space”. I have 12x12ish prebuilt type shed that im making a 6x8 grow space within. it’ll make more sense if you read on and once I get it finished along with pics! Im using foam board insulation and 2x3s for reinforcements of the false walls and (germ room!) I know! ill get it finished in the next few days and post the pics. My lighting situation is less than ideal at the moment I have 12 4ft 42watt led full spectrum white light that i use for all my veggie start on a rack. I took that all apart and made my own rail to attach them all together as ”one light”. Im hoping to be able to get something more powerful in the future but at the moment that’s all im able to come up with, I’m confident it will get the plants to where they need to be by the time theyll require a “real” grow light. If that doesnt happen ill flower out with what i got.

The soil im using will be organic soil ill mix myself from the local worm/soil place. I honestly forgot the name of nutes im going to use (theres a whole regiment of them from start to finish), along with some added things along the way in the form of fish poop water and meals and guanos. Ill get a very detailed list of all of that as i acquire them and apply them.

as a finish to the diary intro I know its a little pipe dreamy, I have faith and have always been a half glass full type of person with a heavy dose of plan for the worst and hope for the best mentality even if the odds are stacked against me, so with that said I am also a very realistic person and can and will recognize a futile situation. Im very open to suggestions and input and any questions! thanks for reading!

I find that comments sections tend to rip my modest indoor grow. I’m an old guy growing for medicine and use small lights and tents. I grow good flower that is better than dispensary and “legacy market” but they rip my gear anyways.

You’re much braver than I am putting everything on the table and leaving yourself open to the abuse. I do use a PPFD app but “eyeball” VPD and do the best I can in my space.

If anyone ever starts a forum for low budget creative problem solvers who grow great weed in spite of budget limitations I’d sign right up.

One thing I found is that anyone who posts a pic of a yellow leaf and asks what’s wrong they’ll get 10,000 pieces of advice. Be sure that it’s sound advice before making any changes or you can dial yourself out and make things worse.

Good luck. Your photos look great so you obviously have experience. I’m a handy man around the house as well and your grow space looks good and should do the job.
