She was water only organic amendments soil. Now I’m going to switch her to Neptunes harvest and fox farm organic bottles for at least a week of daily feedings View attachment 2378406Each feeding she drinks about 24 ounces out of a 32 ounce bottle , so after that first strong feed the bottle is refilled creating a 1/4 strength feed, which will feed the clones and the Kahuna. Then it’s back to full strength. If she puts out more growth in the next week or two then I’ll transplant her into a three gallon batch of freshly amended soil for flowering. Continue with her feeding schedule and transition her watering into flowering nutrients, still organic. I figure by week three of flowering I could switch from organic bottles back to water only, with a weekly feeding of these three View attachment 2378423I’ve been running the roots organic and swell with the upstairs PBB X CMAN, in the 3x3 and that thing is practically oozing resins right now and smells amazing. Despite being on death’s shit list since the day I just stuck her in soil and said goodluck. View attachment 2378466View attachment 2378467
Any reason for keeping that charred leaf?

She still has some stuff in her to give back to the plant, i pluck the weaker ones when they’re ready. This plant is cooked anyways. I won’t use the same light with this setup if I do this again, was too close to the light which isn’t dimmable.

I was just touching some that were yellow and green and they just fell off. Some yellow leaves had extremely wet stems. I don’t remove those.

This is your massive plant right? If so you flipped before me and not at day 32 bro👊
Oops, my bad. My dog ate my notebook, but I've got scraps - She was flipped Dec 30th. Bud-set was Jan 11th or 12th, which is where I count flowering from. 1/11-2/16 = 35days, not 32. I was 2 or 3 days off; all apologies 🤜😖🤛

*side note: You'll notice circled on 1/12 where her nutes ran up to 2100, that is when I missed a watering (I was having to top up her water every 8hs when she was in the 5 gal bucket) and fried her leaf tips that you see now 🔥😫🔥

web:

1. Transition Period (Pre-Flowering) – Week 1 of 12/12 (Not Official Flowering Yet)

  • When you switch to 12/12 lighting (for photoperiod plants), the plant does not immediately start flowering. Instead, it undergoes a transition phase, often lasting 7-14 days, where it stretches significantly and prepares to bloom.
  • Some growers call this period "Week 1 of Flowering", but the plant is not yet forming real buds—just showing early signs.

2. The True Start of Flowering (Bud-Set) – Usually After 10-14 Days of 12/12

  • Many experienced growers consider flowering to officially begin when bud sites form, usually around Day 10-14 after the 12/12 flip.
  • This is when:
    • White pistils (hairs) appear in clusters at the nodes.
    • The plant stops stretching as much.
    • The first signs of trichome development begin.
This means that if a strain has an 8-week flowering time, you should start counting from the first sign of actual flower formation, not from the first day of 12/12.

For Autoflowers

  • Autos begin flowering on their own, usually between weeks 3-5 from germination.
  • The start of flowering is marked not by time but by visible pistils forming at the nodes.

me:
Someone smarter than me should start a poll to see what others say when to start counting flowering

I maybe 6 days behind you. I killed the boys 5 days later. They were flowering two days later.

I consider the seventh day after flipping my lights the start of week one so I flipped my 3x3 on 12/26 so I just started week number seven.
