Today up close I found some of the dead black bugs that I think are responsible for the drastic decline of my plants. Also found a spider crawling through the de. I squished it , wasn’t a spider mite but I didn’t know if it was a good guy. The bugs moved over to the clones and I think they killed one. I posted a few pages back. I dumped de on the cups. I don’t see any movement on those. Watered the bigger plants and in the run off I got some red looking round dead bugs. I saved the cup because I thought I could try and get a photo. Just got off work and Mrs. putthataway dumped the cup so no pic. Whatever they are they weren’t there before the plants got sick and seem to be in the soil I am guessing attacking the roots. Will toss more de down tomorrow when the soil dries. Whatever they are they multiplied quickly and did some heavy damage . I never found them on the leaves, only the floor of the tent. By squeezing the solo cups I saw them coming out of the soil. On the bigger plants I never saw them in soil until the pots pissing the bloated round red bugs today. I think they came uncle Jim’s castings. My plants look like hell.

Combined with good watering practices and only when ya need it . I only hit the soil

Food grade diatomaceous earth aka de. It’s non toxic. They crawl through it. The de cuts them open and they dehydrate to death. It’s only effective when dry.

I use this as well. I don’t want to use it in flower and the de seems to be working on my enemy at hand here. Damage is done though

Pulled tent 1 this morning. It's far enough and I want to get these 3 super cropped and trained I to the net for a good ole ScrOg

Even furthest from finish, pb3 is going to be the best yielder. Took up the least amount of space too (by far). She's a keeper she'd make em all look like chumps on a solid run.

Going into the ScrOg net tomorrow are Psychedelic Banjo x Giant Columbian pheno... Tammy 1 x Giant Columbian pheno... Mango Nectar x Haymeadow purps.

It’s pretty amazing stuff. You can use it to kill scorpions out here, it’s effective on bed bugs. Shut the crickets up in summer here at my doorstep for a night or two but they come back for the light in summer. I prefer the food grade because it washes through the soil. The ones sold as pest control are sandy and stay in the soil. The food grade is powdery and in instances like me stepping on it with my socks and moving it around the house clean up on their own.

I buy the food grade as well only really use it when I amend new soil

I do use BTI (mosquito bits) it’s the only thing I use… haven’t seen a Gnat in a long time. I keep a few bits in the 5 gallon water jugs. Great stuff

Similar color and that’s what came out the run off. Round like little balls in the cup of water, I couldn’t see the legs or snouts, similar to the dead carcasses of the black bugs I could see on the floor. Here’s one that’s alive.

She’s got a few of the marigolds in now. The little one that was in there i don’t know if it died. The marigolds with the herb leaf hung around along time, I don’t know.
