I watched a bunch of the hitchcock stuff on VHS as a kid at my grandmother's place.
wow -35C is no joke. at least it is a dry air. I remember being in Colorado in 1988 and it was cold out temp wise but the dry air made it tolerable.I live in northern Alberta and haven't seen dumps of snow like that for years tho we'd have 8' drifts in the back yard 10 years ago. The last few years you can see stubble in the fields all winter like this year which doesn't please the farmers. We got about 8" a week ago so have maybe a foot total on the yard except for drifts out back to maybe 3' in places. Still gets down to -35C for weeks at a time but it's a dry cold so barely sweater weather. lol
Pic of my back yard winter '07 looking south over the dugout when I went to clean a 2' dump off the roof. Oil rig sticking up there as they were drilling all over the place around here back then.

-35C ain't shit to toilet paper for real Canadians! I did a short stint on a nightly cargo run between Bismarck and Winnipeg one winter and after landing at Winnipeg around 0600 one morning this one dude was helping us unload with a short sleeve t-shirt on, no hat, no gloves, and it was -26C with a 30 knot wind blowingwow -35C is no joke. at least it is a dry air. that is crazy. yeah if you live in those conditions you get use to it. I couldn't lol I spent time in Canada on Vacation as a kid. we drove up through Michigan to Su St Marie and went into Canada and drove throughout Canada to Niagara falls area. this was in the 70's and during summer time so we didn't bare the cold. I remember those Maple leaf cookies and man those were awesome.-35C ain't shit to toilet paper for real Canadians! Got ya beat… just shoveled the end of my U-turn side of my driveway… I go on and have a coffee,, walk to the front window and see a highloader… he was digging the snow out from around the fire hydrant that’s next to my driveway… guess where he dumped all the snow… yep right in my drivewayMy town does the opposite, this past storm was a real pain in the ass. The end of my driveway keeps shrinking every single storm, the snowbanks are over six feet high. Came home from work yesterday to a big chunk of the snow knocked back into my driveway.
If he's from where I think he's from (he mentioned it somewhere), it fits. I married a girl from there...Hey Mike where are you from?
