Drooping leaves? I should be worried?

Hello guys,

It has been some days that I see one of my plants´ leave drooping down (the middle one on the picture). At the beginning of the day it´s more or less fine, but at the end of it I can see how the leaves are dropping a little bit. What could be the reason? Maybe is something normal and I´m overthinking?

Temperature is around 25º and 50% humidity, currently on 18/6 light cycle.
My light is a 200w LED PPE:2.8umol/j PPFD:3017 umol/s/m2

it could happen that some pheno have a tendency for more droopy leaves than some others.

It could be light level. As much as we tend to talk about PAR levels, plants respond primarily to the total amount of light they have to process during the day. The light meter guys call that the "daily light integral" or DLI. Once a plant has processed as much light as it wants/needs for the day, it will stop praying and the leaves will droop. If there's way too much light, they'll change shape to reduce their surface area.

I would raise the humidity to about 57%.

What percentage of the 200W light are you using?

Plants are looking great! Big breath and relax. Remember that more plants are killed by love than by neglect!

If you're going to go straight coco with no perlite, make sure it's not packed too densely in the pots and you're good.

Agreed. Looks great! I always try to keep in mind, I’m growing flowers not leaves. And in a couple weeks all those bottom leaves will be pruned off anyways. If the new growth looks healthy and on track. Stick with your system.

Without any other supporting evidence from the OP, this is likely the case. 👍🏻

As with millions of other possibilities, it goes without saying.

Maybe this an informative way of saying that the OP has nothing to worry about, barring any other additional symptoms. 👍🏻

Hello guys,

Thanks for your replies. I think it should be something related to the lights yes. I had it at 100% but yesterday I put it at 80% of power, but it didn't work, look the plant at the end of the day cycle.

The other ones seems to be good, even the babies! what can I do? :(

Look the difference... lights went on a couple of hours ago, looks so healthy now.
But it´s going to drop the leaves again at the end of the day... What can I do? I'm worried one day is not going to be able to recover again :(

overeacting ... i told you some phenos will just have a tendency for more droopy leaves than some others and they will grow just fine beside that, that could just happen.

others in the group had some good advice. Leave it alone until you see other symptoms of a problem. But if you insist there is a light problem
Measure PPFD
Find out your DLI and report back

i have seen this happenning a few time over the years.

as per normal (gauss law) population distribution law not all individual within a given population will have the same exact need for nutrient and will react the same to your environnemental conditions, more or less capricious phenos regarding a parameter or another are a things once in a while.

get most of the plants happy in the tent, and don't care and worry too much about the weirdos ... they will grow well enough if others are fine.

more your grow in large amount from seeds, more you'll see all kind of weirdness with some phenos.

Thanks for your answers guys, I´ll do so and will try not worry too much if I don't see any other problems. It´s true that I´m mixing a variety of different seeds, so it could be the pheno typo... Will continue updating!

They all droop somewhat at the end of the day and through the night. Takes them a min in the morning to perk up too. The only way I ever got that to stop was a 9/3 veg light cycle. I used to time lapse vids all my plants and at about hour 15 of 18 they would always get droopy. That led to some over watering problems from me because I would think they're thirsty.

I agree with the medium... it's very tricky especially for Irrigation.. I would use some of coast of Maine castine blend with some of the Organic growers mix. The coco stuff has no nutritional value
