Beautiful area. Yeah I get it. We are in an area with a lot of 100 foot white pine, and every time we get a significant storm, either winter storm with wet snow and ice, heavy winds or severe thunderstorms, I worry about these trees either losing branches or coming down completely. Talk about ptsd. Last winter we had at least three separate storms that took out powerlines where we were without power for days. I think 9-10 days total without power between the three storms. This winter, which isnāt over yet snowing right now. Hasnāt been an issue, yet. But it doesnāt matter what the weather does, in the past week I have had a hot water heater go out on me. And then the oil burner shit the bed at my house yesterday morning. Two days without heat, but at least itās just above freezing outside. All this while the girlfriend and her kid are on vacation in Culebra Puerto Rico.
