THE TRAINWRECK. Brought to you by thcfarrmer…..

Funny crazy number my little brother's band did a couple years back. "I keep a stranger tied up on my daddy's farm" Just feels appropo an anthem for a trainwrecking crew. 😜 Dig it 👊🏻🤡

No need to apologize my friend. They all seem to have their thing. I think the biggest issue was the size of pots and the bugs that have proven themselves as destructive. I haven’t put those castings down since although I felt like soil needed it .
You can make a tea with castings i believe. It might get you around the presence of bugs in it. dont quote me on that, youll have to look it up to confirm

i bet theres a tea of some kind you could improvise in this situation in the future if it happens again even if not with castings. Maybe spike it with just a touch of calcium phosphate or something

ive pasteurized worm castings for mycological use before, maybe you could pasteurize the stuff and just mix in a little stuff with healthy microbes and run it as is.

It’s almost hot out in Arizona. The Jim’s worm castings are going in a sealed trash bag and in the trunk of the car for a few 115 degree days before they are used again. The bugs are gonna be baked 😁😂

Yes teas can absolutely be made from castings, i seep the castings for 10-16 hours then when I put into the sprayer I strain it through a Cheesecloth, top dress the castings then water in the tea, I like to make teas in the summer I make it in a 5 gallon water jug so I can shake it up once an hour, and leave it in the sun all day to heat up, plants go crazy haha

Pretty pissed off at my myself with this grow. Tried to to follow the advice from cap and that oneguyyouknow. No matter what I have tried the leaves just look like Hiroshima keeps getting hit. Burnt tips. Not over fed. I haven’t fed them anything. Been giving them banana tea and some nitrogen at the advice of cap. The pots are root bound. Battling the bugs that managed to kill a few sunflower seedlings and almost killed a clone that had just rooted. The only good news is the buds are getting bigger still. They smell wonderful . Flowering started 1/17 so I hope I can get them to the finish line. Main burning seems to be at the top of the plants but by no means limited to the bottom. Following the advice of cap scratching the top soil I can’t scratch anything off it’s all roots. I added a little bit of soil to the top View attachment 2392263View attachment 2392264if you take a look at this clone the bugs attacked the dead leaf is basically doing what the mom’s leaves are doing.
Sorry my man, some runs are just doomed. I have had some myself that I should have just aborted. In the end you learned a lot from this grow. Next one will be a lot smoother I have no doubt ✌️

Bigger jugs next time and defeat of these bugs
Lol for sure, thats will help big time! Something you will not forget.
I have never had a bug issue since i switched over. I do a simple living soil with Colorado company castings and it's easy mode. I only top dress once and do H20 these days. The good bugs eat the bad. Easy mode ✌️
