I’ve been aware for a while now about this, but it’s an uphill battle to try and do things the right way. The first thing that they did before the foods or the medicine was to create a lifestyle where time was your biggest commodity. Once they start taking your time away from you you’re gonna run on a deficit. All of the important things an animal has to do in the wild are prioritized, such as food, shelter, procreation, and habitat. Anything else is wasted energy. People have removed themselves from that natural process so much, that getting back to the basics is almost impossible. I’m going deep here I guess but it’s like Tyler Durgin said in fight club “we become a slave to our own possessions “ . What we ironically call creature comforts are comforts that typically aren’t enjoyed by any creatures, just humans and possibly those animals that humans domesticated as pets. It should be called human comforts, that makes more sense, right?
