I don’t think that having a dedicated green light in your mix is going to be beneficial. But you can always try it and post the results. Good luck ✌️

Maybe he wants to weave a handbag and needs that green light stimulation to grow those stems longer because the plant thinks its below a canopy and needs to stretch for the good light spectrum its not getting. It's a solid plan to grow stems.

I don't understand much of it but I became friends with Dr. Chris Justen before he passed away, and I am fascinated by the science of electromagnetic wavelengths. He designed lasers for the medical community and called bullshit on all the other laser manufacturers over their bro science products that weren't using laser technology for anything other than burning tissue.

If somebody wants to play around with green Leds and make some new discoveries, I'm not gonna be the one to discourage them. The greatest scientific discoveries come about accidentally when someone set out to do something and stumbled upon something else completely unexpected.

So to the OP, I don't know if you're gonna be able to do what you want to do but if you have the tools and the toys to tinker and it brings you joy to tinker, then tinker away and share what you discover, good or bad.

If you would take 12 minutes to watch the video I posted, you can go from "I don't understand much" to "I understand somewhat to form a semi-educated answer based on proven facts"

They aren't making new discoveries. They are groping in the dark without the effort to understand the absolute basics that would allow them to stop wasting time, effort and resources on what's already known.

if you would have watched ths 12 minute video you would have seen that green light is included in sunlights spectrum and plays a role in photosynthesis, and more. But 12 minutes to learn is too much! It's easier to pretend you know something about it? Come on man.

It's my understanding that leaves appear green because they can't absorb green light so it is reflected back to our eyes.

The science of photosynthesis concerning red and blue light regarding plants is well understood. Plants being green is so they DON'T reflect either of those wavelengths back out into space.

I see this in my own grow with a UVb light. The plants purple up more in an attempt to reflect that light away from the plant. Fascinating stuff indeed.

Cannabis botany myth: (in video at about 3 minute mark)

Here is reality:

I’ll bet people love you at the mall 🤣

They wont learn. Its useless.

The video solves everything. Yep.

My apologies to the OP for the Trainwrecked thread. Happy growing ✌️

How would you even know dude?
I took the time to watch the video. It's all the reasons why FULL SPECTRUM lights are "better" than blurple ones and I put that in quotes for a reason. Everyone knows If you take the red and blue out and go with just green you're fucked basically. Blurple lights grow great weed in the right hands, so do full spectrum. End of fucking story.

Not the end. I'll end the story.

The sun grows the best weed. End of story.

The video doesn't tell me anything I didn't already know. I have a fascination and limited understanding of electromagnetism overall. I'm not just obsessed over that which falls in the visible spectrum... but thanks for playing.
