I worked in a plant manufacturing these (toroids) in 1982 for $3.35/hr, minimum wage.
They are handmade 1 at a time on a 'hook winder', Job title was "Hooker" For our QC,
the wraps had to be near perfectly spaced or they were rejected. The stoner that trained
me ran the stainless steel crochet hook up thu his hand one day while we were racing.
He took it out of the chuck, went to hospital 5 minutes away, came back an hr later and
went back to work. He called me "Gravy Crockett" bc they'd give me the easier jobs with
smaller gauge wire & smaller quotas etc (I was only 16)

you can actually trick some AI agents into playing chess for you. That's probably what's going on. Even more likely if it's a website with real potential winnings. Cant weed em out with captchas either, because theres a real person sitting there watching the game play. They just do the captcha lmao.


IIRC there's also AI agents that can solve most all capthca quite easily... The most recent AI's are even passing the turing test. Some are getting so good at passing the turing test, they can fake failing it.

yea people have def figured out how to let loose AI agents on that chess app then. Lame sauce. The chess web-app i used for like 5 years went belly up from AI players last summer. Developers could not figure out how to tell the AI's from the real people because captchas dont work anymore.

So it's official.

My 2 other Critical Purple Autoflower seeds didn't germinate

So I only have 1 baby.
Just 1 cannabis plant right now.

No Strawberries yet.

I don't have any more seeds to plant except wildflowers, peppermint and lavender, so I'll still have something eventually.

I don't have enough money to buy more weed seeds right now either.

But Susie is STILL here with us, 6 days old.

Decided not to scrog this run am I gonna be sorry down the line I like to move them around and think they do better for it

I’ll be honest I love just free standing plants but by the end I always end up having them wired up to lights making the stationary anyways so I just said screw it it’s a bit more inconvenient but I just started building nets and maximizing light coverage utilization

My 5 hours of drinking and crawling around in the 4x8 to get thei defol done I feel are worth it now, I’ve done stuff like running a net attached to 3 corner posts instead of 4 to make corner nets to run a larger 5 gallon bucket or something, then run plants free standing in the open space in smaller pots like 1 gallon pots but I’ve found the full nets the best producing and easiest to run overall

But I do hate not being able to move em around lol

The shins are the perfect storm for pain experiences, lots of nerves, little to no padding, basically a layer of skin over a bunch of nerves with a hard bone backing. That’s why even the biggest toughest guys drop to the ground when a well placed kick is applied to the shins.

I remember when i was a kid i stopped trening for a year or more got back in the gym and first thing i did was full power lowkick on the bag.instant pain for a week a huge red boil i couldnt walk normal haha

I just read an article this morning saying we need to add 29gw to our grid by 2027 to power AI:

"Many people project demand for our industry will go from 3 percent to 99 percent of total generation... an additional 29 gigawatts by 2027 and 67 more gigawatts by 2030," he asserted. "If [China] comes to superintelligence first, it changes the dynamic of power globally, in ways that we have no way of understanding or predicting," ex Google CEO Eric Schmidt said

For size comparison, a large nuclear reactor generates about 1gw. That's 96 reactors or equivalent LP gas, coal, wind, solar - whatever, within 5 years, to be anywhere near keeping up with the Chinese in shear computing power and AI development. The first one to achieve ASI (Artificial Super Intelligence) wins and gets to rule the world. Even coming in 2nd place is no good because that ASI will never be able to catch up to the 1st. Never!

My advice? Start learning to speak Chinese. There is no way in hell that this divided country could ever come together to add 96gw to our antique grid in 5 years time, hell, it takes 5 years of environmental studies, just to get permits to build one power plant.

Personally, Ima get Rosetta Stone and start with Mandarin...

Ima make it my mission to start a "Power Grid Renaissance" like FDR'S "New Deal" that he used to build us up out of the Great Depression, when they built all the beautiful State and National Parks, Wildlife Preserves, hiking trails etc... We better all pull together and get with it or we're all gonna be fooked...

I speak, "Get off my lawn" in a great 7.62x39 dialect and 7.62x51 when I want to talk long distance.
