Will be testing out my new semi-modular low-voltage wall to wall light setup. This tent runs the exact same temp as the lung space 24/7. Really digging it. Honestly because of the air flow it feels quite nice sticking my head in there.

I should have at least 2 foot of usable canopy depth/light penetration with this setup. And zero airflow or temp concerns even in the heat of summer 🤙💚

@MartyMcFly42oh @Mikedin

These two were intended to be split between you two and I totally forgot to pack them

They'll be on there way very soon 👍 no longer in a totally rural area under ebike power 😅🤣

I did a quick search and don't know how much of this is valid, just something to help for me to look out for this kind of stuff, maybe some breeders can validate this if they noticed, but the pistils (sexual organs of the flower), when grown unfertilised to maturity will slowly change color from white to amber/orange. It's only the tips of these pistils that change color (base remains white) when fertilised. True?
This would be best asked to @Captspaulding or @Thatoneguyyouknow_ i don’t do enough crosses to notice that closely

You’re talking about the tent being pollinated by a hermed plant correct?

Yes, I'm wanting to catch any future problems early before going through the harvest/drying/curing process. If the tips of the pistils just changing colors is the trick...
If it is a problem, toss the tent out? Or will a good Clorox cleaning be enough to right the ship? But your right, I'm gonna get a hold of Capt right now.

You should see my tents 🤣 cats clawed corners wide open, my bottom flaps duly exposed, cameras on in the tent all night, light strip power indicators exposed. I don’t block shit anymore if that does it, it’s a problem
My first few grows I used bag seeds and I was chasing these damn bullshit light leaks. Locking myself in my tent in the dark like a weirdo lmao

Now I know a little better

Still a weirdo though lol

Especially if you get any self pollination.., never seen that before, until just recently, Kush I grew out from 7East Genetics did just that on a 12 week flower (buds came out full of seeds). Now I'm concerned if they jizzzed all inside the tent, can they?
I’m pretty sure water will kill the pollen but that’s just me spouting shit I heard from someone else lol

They in fact are….not, for a Easter party tomorrow with kids, but very easily could be they are all homemade minus the chocolate bunny, homemade sugar cookies and homemade buttercream frosting 😁

Fresh sourdough… dough is in the fridge to cook in the morning for the party / dinner

The "not" floored my ass. You had me in the first half;)

Cheers

87 is a bit warm (to me) I’ve hit it before for sure but prefer 78-82 max how are they looking?

Maybe keep the tent doors open on the bottom during the day let the air get drawn in easier that black 6” tube is in the back corner of my tent, that’s just an open duct from the celing, then all 4 bottom flaps open, I added the duct a few runs ago, really helped the tent let air flow better I was thinking of closing up the 4x4 and circulating the 2 tents together with the 4” exhaust being a circ fan between the tents and the 6” exhausting but I opted to keep them separate for cross contamination risk mitigation lol
Ya they look good be 2 weeks old come Wednesday.. I don’t like to run my temps much over 80 but with the weather and stuff keeps changing I’m going to have to keep an eye on them

Oh yeah water will kill the spores by the time next round is in flower the pollen would probably be on viable, I thought you ment the flower itself, yeah spray down with water is good I do a bleach / water spray between runs no matter what

Copy... I fucked up bad. Just wiped the floor this last time. Crud. Well, it was about 4 weeks in between grows abouts. Might be good. And if it happens, we'll just keep it on the downlow. 😏 (More free weed for the neighbors)
