the whole pistil will change color after fertilization with most of them, not just the tips.I did a quick search and don't know how much of this is valid, just something to help for me to look out for this kind of stuff, maybe some breeders can validate this if they noticed, but the pistils (sexual organs of the flower), when grown unfertilised to maturity will slowly change color from white to amber/orange. It's only the tips of these pistils that change color (base remains white) when fertilised. True?
