Good morning, lovers and fighters!




I woke up to some thirsty girlies in the flower chamber. Two of them were droopy...

When I was in there yesterday, pulling out the males I found, the pots felt very light, but no visual signs of thirst. I knew I was going to wake up to at least one drooper. I was up against the clock as the lights were shutting off soon, so I zipped it up and put it off til this morning.

And yep, checked on my girls and two were a little sad and droopy. #knewit

No harm, they're fine, but it goes to show just how well you can calibrate yourself with these practices. That feedback loop to the brain is really important... Keep honing and tightening the controls! Next time, I'll water even if it's 20 minutes into lights-out. #recalibrated

This concludes today's lament of going back to soil from years of systems, timers, tinkering, and automation. Feels good to get down at eye level with my plants again and nurture, feed, and talk with them.
