I have had 2 major accent related events in my life and both were in a training environment.
When I went back to school I had to take some writing classes as my style was more cookbook and chemistry than anything. I wound up in a class with a very loud Spanish lady who rolled r's and had a rapid fire delivery that I just could not follow. Had to drop that class.

The second one was a class on bi- directional networks for automotive applications. It was one of the first systems ( Chrysler CCD systems ) and training that had been offered to the aftermarket ( non dealer techs).
The presenter was basically Gomer Pyle.
Lanky stooped good ole boy that sounded like possum stew. This trainer was the most educated guy I ever met for electronics. Rather than an impediment to understanding his speech taught me to listen and process IN THE MOMENT which is something I tend to not do in training as I like to write outlines of lectures and self study. This gentleman has also been fighting the entire industry because of a simple idea he had for wiring diagrams. He thought the class a way to color code a wiring diagram to show the expected information that a tool would provide during normal operation. Circuits were colored for power, ground, switch to power, switch to ground, low voltage signal and on and on. I used his idea when I began my teaching career in 98.

I'm just posting a rant cause it's bothering me. I had traded some seeds for some other seeds i did'nt really know this person well more like a friend of my good friend anyhoooo that's what i planned on for my outdoor plants were these seeds. He said they were fems hybrids gelato, kahifla kush? and a white truffle. It was past my 3day limit more like 4days from dropped in water 24hr to damp paper towel and baggie. Doing it the same as i've done with 90% success getting a tap root.
Well now on the 4th day no tap root nothing just look darker so i went ahead put them in the 2x2 seedling soil and a humidity dome under my seedling lamp. I'll leave them be till Sunday then if no show i'll dig them up and smash them with pleasure LOL. I won't trade with that person anymore i know the seeds i gave him were good ones. So on Monday i'll start somemore photoperiod seeds. Pisses me off when i fail in germination got so mad i went and took 4 clones off my tent growing now. There 7days on 12/12 so no flower yet but they are stretching and i could'nt control myself haahaa.

Hey Gal....sorry to hear about your situation.......definitely sucks.....hopefully they didn't know they were bad.......don't give up regardless.....you can grow some nice plants....

Unfortunately, if I give seeds out, I can not guarantee that they will pop or sprout.....but I can guarantee that I wouldn't stop sending till they did.....

I'm hoping everything works out with your plants!!

I had to rewatch the video, I thought those old Mercedes were Volvo’s I have some very fond memories of all the Volvo’s that I have owned over the years. Gawddamn steel cage protection and almost as reliable as a Toyota my 740 wagon must’ve had 500k on it when I got rid of it. Sold it to a guy at an auto body,and he entered it into a demolition derby, it was one of the only cars that drove off the race track that night. Couple weeks later he sent me a video of the damn thing doing jumps on his buddies property. The old silverback gorilla 🦍. I miss that car.
Hopefully the power company gets that damn tree off the lines for ya!

Sorry to hear that Galgrows, I know your pain. I use to have all my seeds in the freezer and never had issues, but then one day the girlfriend accidentally double ordered a bunch of factor microwave dinners and I had to find another place for my collection. Now it’s a shit show trying to get beans to pop.

My moms place is pretty out in the sticks. Power surges and temp outages at night are very common.

When i got here my flowering timers were runnin 11:25-11:25


As of this morning ive noticed its more like 11:55-11:55 🤔 🤣

ive also lost two voltage boosters and a power supply since i got here, and had to invest in a quality surge protecting UPS/regenerator. Her breaker box isnt set up to hook my generator to it yet either and itll be a bit before i can afford to do that.

I left the door open to my tent thats like a week into 12/12 last night too and didnt notice till like 11am this morning, and the blinds were up in the window too. Opposite side the room from the tent, facing due east into the sun. They had a beautiful, and clear view of the sunrise this morning about 6 hours into the dark cycle, 1 week into 12-12.

Well the rain has ground the outdoor projects to a halt

Sucks too because I just got home with 8 more bags of acid loving plant conditioner, 4 bags of potting mix, Tree tone for fruit trees, berry tone for the berry plants, and 20 cu ft (10x 2cu ft bags) of hardwood ground mulch, all under cover to protect from the rain for the next few days while I work but when I get off it’ll all be here ready to go in 5 days

I can spend the rest of the day up potting veggie seedlings

Set up the seedling table before the store opened or before it was warm enough to paint, utilize that time ☠️

i have like 20 clones to root, but as is tradition im procrastinating on my clones because i dont want to plant them or fuck with all the soil and labeling all the little cups or tray lids. I totally burnt out on it after doing up a half dozen big vege seed trays for mom.

I also removed the clay-ass topsoil from a 10x30 area of the top of the yard for her yesterday. Replaced the topsoil with homemade compost/topsoil mix shes had stewing at her compost pile for a couple seasons. (storming today ill get pics later)

did a bunch of vegging plant transplants too, so my soil bin is empty and need to remix some more.

So to not have to look at any more dirt and dust for a while..... ( 🤣 ) i just labeled some water bottles and stuck all the clones by strain in em. And im keeping them in ambient light with an hour of direct sun a day. im topping off the water bottles each day with RO and adding a few drops of h202. They be fine lmao. usually when i get super lazy with clones and do it this way, i end up with my happiest looking clones and 100% rooting rates. You can even clone entire branches this way if your feeling super lazy. It just takes a long time.
