It was colder last run, I chopped on Jan 9th, tent was struggling to maintain 74F and Humidity was much lower, I was probably in the 30-35% range last time, I’m at about 60% currently

theres a few people trying to get me to buy their auto seeds by sending me more then ill ever grow. Is weirdly counter-intuitive to their end goal.

I have launched 3 grows in a year with 1 fail and one success. Part of the problem seems to be the variations I am getting from my seeds. Every launch has been the same with multiple presentations from the same strain. I have an idea.

A growbro took one of my plants and has taken 8 clones and gave to his friend. Since he likes to grow I think I am going to ask him to launch 4 seeds and let them go till he finds a plant worth cloning and give me 4 rooted clones and he keeps all the mothers to do what he will. Will also offer end result product.This will get me 4 plants for 4 seeds every time without me having to worry about fails.
As far as the autos go I am going to start them in solo cups and as someone suggested in another thread do my own version of Johnny cannabis plants and distribute free plants to nature.

you have to inbreed for like 6-10 generations + to get a genotype to where it only presents a single phenotype. Thats typical.



Please dont put autoflower cannabis plants in nature unless youre in the russian steppes lol. Seriously. Same goes for industrial hemp seed. Please dont. your doing more harm then good, promise. It took the wild hemp land races almost 80 years to redevelop a usable CBD content for breeding and stuff.


All the seed johnny appleseed planted grew crabbapples and most on private property were cut down before maturity because they were useless. the sad truth is that johnny appleseed made the propagation of Useful apple cultivars a lot more difficult to keep track of in the missouri, TN, Ga areas., and not much else was accomplished.

I did not realize that a fem auto would pollute the gene pool. I understand the idea of pollen and seeds but these plants produce neither. Hell I am having a time getting them to produce ina tent.

wild hemp lamnd races pollenate them and they make more seed that grows. Thats how nature works.


People thought the same in the midwest over the last 20 years, and now you cant grow a plant without autoflowering hemp genetics ending up in seeds within them in the KC area anymore. you cant grow outside without having seeds, and they will be mixed up hemp and autoflowering seeds to boot.


Autoflowering is a dominant trait, not recessive, and females reproduce too... That very decision youve been recommended is why its impossible to breed cannabis outdoors in the missouri and illinois./iowa areas now., Dominant traits percolate through nature... *quickly* A single plant spreading pollen is of equal concern to me then a female potentially being pollenated by male wild hemp pollen. Thats literally the beginning of a shit show 20 years from now. 100%

Nature finds a way to reproduce itself, thats what it does best. Autoflowering is an evolutionarily beneficial dominant trait. Definitely do some reading on what that actually means to a wild gene pool should even a single plant or two make it into the next wild breeding generation with such traits.

if you plan on retrieving the plants entirely come fall, then thats not exactly putting them in the wild like johnny appleseed.


And im not being a dick, this is already a problem in several places. And its entirely because people carelessly throw the plants they dont want into the wild and dont come back for them. Same thing that has cane toads overwhelming florida, and snakeheads killing off the local bass populations by out competing them.


You may not have local wild hemp land races near you though, but if you live in the contiguous 48 states outside the desert southwest, you absolutely do.

You putting those out probably wont be a problem, but when you have a thousand growers carelessly doing the same multiple seasons in a row.... honestly im just trying to delay the inevitable. Theres a reason im so intent on preserving non inbred cannabis lineages in bulk volume, and sharing them with everyone i can. its because people are uneducated morons mostly, and dont understand what im saying even when i spell it out, and in a couple decades people who actually preserved those and arent just giving them away and growing a couple are gonna be very glad they did. (IM NOT CALLING YOU AN UNEDUCATED MORON, just lots of other people lol)

I appreciate this input. I am not a thin skinned guy at all and no worries. I will not spread problems for the future potheads to deal with. I did no research on outdoor propagation in the wild and was unaware.

Back to trading my seeds for something not worth shipping!
