I love me some blue note records, my introduction into jazz music was originally through hip hop, a rapper named Guru put out a couple collaboration albums in the early nineties under the title Jazzmatazz , I’ve always liked when a rapper frontlines for a live band. It just captures the whole essence of improv. As I got older I started listening to more authentic jazz such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane and then Herbie Hancock, that guy just blew my mind with some of the stuff that he created. So much great music out there. This one is quintessential rainy day every thing viewed through a black and white lens jazz music to me

I've been sprayed by a skunk once in my life, I was walking in the forest at night, I spooked it, where it was sleeping, didn't see it coming..


Got all over my bag and my leg, I was homeless and camping at the time.

It’s kinda crazy how much more intense the smell is when the spray comes in contact with something, versus smelling it when you’re driving down the road. My old dog got sprayed twice in her fifteen years of existence and it might’ve well have sprayed me too. Both times I had to sleep outside with her for the first night.
