Quit about 8 years ago lol, if I bought weed off the Rex it was normal bud, when you bought weed in the rez, $20 you’d get about an ounce of fresh chopped buds still on the branches

They voted in recreational cannabis on the reservation splitting the border of TN and NC.

Overnight dispensaries opened, stocked with fine ass cannabis, grow well, ready to go, native owned and operated seed to pipe

Nobody asked any questions either, and they'll serve cannabis with no purchase limits to any native of planet earth that is over the age of 21 with an ID. If TN and NC government wont do it, they'll just corner the market away from em i suppose lmao. They would be economically stupid not to. TN and NC outlawed gambling, well, the Cherokee made it legal on the res and built a casino. They would have been stupid not to.

We have a ton of them here, some of the bud looks good, I probably smoked ancestors of that bud off the rez,

I know beasters came from up north Canadian rez but that was majority of mids we’d get here was nice only $3-4g depending on who ya knew but just soild red hair, always identical little strawberry shaped nugs

It’d be normal to see white widow, bubblegum, white rhino,

But my buddy’s dad always had that straight eye watering skunky OG bud we’d smoke it with him late at night (his wife diddnt know we smoke with him lol) wish I still knew him well, his sister took over the house after their dad died, what I’d do just for a few hours in the basement looking in the crevaces of the old bar where we smoked for just one seed a hope and a prayer

I know he grew it too but it was down south a few hours where their camp was we used to go down there and be hammered for 6 days straight house on the top of a mountain, only house, owned the whole mountain

The best non dispo, not technically legal weed I was getting was a place called H3 Hollistic Healing or something, being run out of Costa Mesa, California all the way up to the pandemic. They were one of many who attempted to declare themselves a religious entity with weed as their sacrament. They made a point to not put a purchase price on any of their items, instead calling it a donation amount. They had 50mg canna candies a buck donation a piece. 500mg brownies. Waxes shatters and badders $10 donation for a gram. City finally won that fight but it was good while it lasted.

story time. youll see why you reminded me of this story, im pretty sure ive told it here before lol.

So i was hitching north from cvlarkesville TN to paducah kentucky, state hiways, middle of nowhere cornfield after cornfield shit. And it was FLAT. From a long ways behind us (we saw it coming for a bit) there was a tractor with a trailer coming up. As he went to go around us we noticed it was an Amish Mennonite dude, his wife, and a young kid. I thre my thumb out as a joke pretty damn sure he wouldnt pick us up.

He swung right over and motioned us on to the trailer. It was full of haybales and produce and stuff. Corn (this was late september)

We butted up right to the tractor side of the trailer so we could talk a bit. The guy said he liked our shirts right away. I was wearing a grateful dead shirt, and my road dog buddy had a Bob Marley shirt on. So immediately we're looking at each other like "what is happening....did we just fall into the twilight zone or some shit?!"

Dude starts the tractor, and immediately whips out one of the FATTEST doobies i have ever seen in my life, and this shit wasnt rolled with rolling paper, it was thicker and harsher, something i assume they made too. Like a fuckin stogie my friends.... And he lights it up with a match, and starts down the road.

He passed it between us 3 til it was gone, and let ud off as he went to turn down a dirt road about an hour into the ride.

We asked him what his name was, and i shit you not.... all he said was "Just tell all your friends you smoked fat doinks with big Amish"

(His wife and kid never even made eye contact with us or opened their mouth, ya know, its the Amish afterall)

The weed was so fucking good, so kushy, and i could tell the only harshness was fgrom the paper. He let us keep the roach. Best shit i had that entire year.

Bro, the amish have some dank fuckin weed man, its legit as fuck, and theyre growing it right. 100% self-sufficient natural outdoor grown organics. Had to be. Nothing else is that dank and the amish dont grow anything, any other way.. Incredible genetics too.

He prob has to hide his "non-fiber hemp" from his community, and we were a very rare and obvious chance for him to smoke someone down on his kill lmfao.

It’s a nice smoke for sure smooth not too strong of a taste. But just as advertised got that chemmy funk with as nice haziness at the end. The funky chem dawg smell came out more and more as it dried. As mine grew it smelled more limey. Let’s goooo reveg lol

Obviously I’ll know more when I’m not cutting the smallest nugs off the branch to try and it’s properly cured and everything sure it will taste a little stronger.

As young boy in the early 80s, I visited an Amish Town. Somewhere near Hershey, PA . Went to the Hershey chocolate factory after. Good Times with the Grandparents

I’ve Since watched a show on TV. Some groups of Amish turn the young people out for a year or so into the real world, see if they want to go that way.
