Salvia, in my opinion because it has a predisposition to really freaks some people out I kind of stay away from it. I’m not saying that the people who enjoy it and have had great experiences. It shouldn’t again enjoy that, but it spooked me out knowing that there’s a possibility of somebody losing thier shit. Or hurting themselves or someone else which unfortunately has happened a bunch of times with that stuff I’ve never heard of that going down with DMT though.
Unless I’m just being willfully ignorant about that, but I’m pretty damn sure anyway

Hi there farmers!

Man, I'm getting tired of my plants running out of juice before harvest. This time it seemed as if I almost did it right. After transplanting before flowering, my plants looked better than all of the previous runs. Then about 4 weeks in, shit started to get weird again. Perhaps my BioShit nutrients spoiled somehow, because no matter how much I added of it, I had no chance to counter any deficiencies. Then also calcium def. kicked in with some plants and again the BioShit Calmag won't work - even with water regulated to a ph value of 6.

I will now try to use organic pellets from a different company (they last for up to 3 months) and add some mineral shit, if the plants should have problems again.

What's up everyone! Quick question. Par reader or lux reader? And which one for a good price?

Fuuck, I just looked it up... seems it's not easy to get here. But I'm optimistic about my other choice Aptus. The pellets are all in one, so I can use their mineral line to boost or to counter any deficiencies. Although it seems weird that they recommend mixing of organic and mineral nutrients.

Although the yield with BioBizz was never great, the quality and taste was always spot on. My grows with it were like setting up a christmas tree: no matter how shitty it looked while it was work in progress, at the end it made your eyes sparkle with joy 😂 🤩

I use none of that my friend they’re the type thing in my opinion that can make you second-guess some stuff or just get it flat out wrong. Because if you’re gonna be looking at par, right, you’re gonna be using it in conjunction with the light map that came with your light I would think and sure it’s nice to know what your lights output is and everything and where it’s hotspot has the most affect, but they’re really kind of arbitrary. It’s always better to start training your eye towards your plants reaction to light as opposed to using a meter to measure it because a lot of the time that stuff doesn’t really apply to what your plant wants that’s just my opinion.
Also, you don’t really need one if you kinda go by the school of thought to do everything incrementally like once a plant gets out of seedling you shouldn’t be past 10 or 15% on your lights out put anyway that being said once you get to that point I always say to incrementally uptick the lights output by 3 to 5% every 4 to 7 dayish with the goal of getting the lamp, no more than 50% output all through veg and then once you get it in the flower, you start taking it up slowly with the goal of getting it to 100% output for harvest now, I’ve never finished a run with my lamps above 75 to 80% output. These lights are powerful now so if you kind of roll with that school of thought and you pay attention to your plan taking it up slowly is the best way to go. It also gives your plant a chance to harden off to the light and acclimate to it on a more gradual curve as opposed to just mowing it by turning it up 30 to 40% at one shot and freaking the plant out and possibly burning the shit out of it lux meter doesn’t help you in that regard.

Only time I really think that these kinds of measuring apparatus or useful is when designing and laying out a new grow space in order to check what the most optimal conditions are for multiple lights and how far you need to set them apart from each other in order to maximize the wash out in between them

Shame
Over the last year and a half, two years of using the stuff it is hands-down, the easiest and most versatile nutrient I’ve ever used. There’s nothing strange about mixing both organic and synthetic. A lot of companies do that. And legit in case you didn’t know Homie like a plant really doesn’t know the difference between synthetic and organic. It’s honestly just a preference. You know what I mean?
All I do man is I mix 50 g of the one part mega crop in 10 gallons of water all through veg that’s it,
In flower its 25 g mega crop
25 g sweet candy
10 mg seakelp

Donezo.

Good point bro! I was reading alot about organic or mineral vs. organic lately. From my own observations in the past, it seemed that the plants even prefer mineral nutes - at least when you would judge them by looks. But tastewise the organic stuff was the best I tried. Not saying that mineral homegrown does taste bad or even worse in general though. I guess you will just notice it more easily when somebody overdid it with feeding. With the BioShit you don't even need to flush at all - I tried both without and with 2 weeks of flushing and the results were pretty much the same. Of course the curing is also crucial when it comes to taste, just as the medium you use. I always prefered soil over anything.

Worst is the rock wool grown shit from the pharmacy. Seems my body and mind react allergic to it. Taste is always off, even when vaped. The same goes for most of the black market stuff. Perhaps they're using illegal PGR's for their shit to enhance yield?

If something can be done to increase greedy folks margins, bet your ass disingenuous asshats will belly up to that bar.

And you know as far as the whole synthetic versus organic affect on an overall taste profile, i’ve had some organic herb that man tasted absolutely amazing. I’ve had some not so great like Skywalker OG for instance I’ve had that both organic and both synthetically grown and they were both fucking terrible so I mean you know honestly it’s just a point of preference and there ain’t no reason to be disgruntled towards any one grower because of their choice in that regard you know what I’m saying it’s always good to be pragmatic because no matter what at the end of the day there’s gonna be gives and takes with both varieties of nutrients

Howdy farmers! I am a few days into "week 6" since light change for my four blueberry muffin plants. I had to tie them up a little because they were flopped all over the place...and I noticed something and thought ARE THOSE BALLS?!?!?

Please tell me all is well. This is my third try at this and I am really trying to make it to the finish line without rods sticking out the sides of the block....

Yeah, whenever I see him, dude if they look suspect and they’re a little bit too spherical in nature, I’ll always just go ahead and pinch it
Or if I’m still not sure, I’ll just snatch that fucker off and do a little bit of a surgery.

Thank you Captain🔥!

It's Friday so I figured what the hell. Breakfast of champions, with a very generous amount of oil infused weed pulp spread over my bagels. My farts should be smelling like weed by around 2pm.

For sure man! I have no doubts that your weed must be fire, not only in terms of taste. The following might sound like smart-assing, but it's just something that went through my mind when considering this method of mixing mineral with organic: While the organic method is supposed to feed the plants not directly but instead feeds microrganisms that will feed the plant in return, mineral nutes will be absorbed directly by the roots. Now, when I add mineral nutes to an organic grow, it will mess with the microrganisms to some degree. I guess it will depend on how much I use, but in theory I could mess up the biological activity of the soil, so my plants might depend on mineral nutes, some weeks down the road anyway.

But I like to try new things and will just see for myself if the taste will be impacted. Who knows, perhaps the taste with the mixed method will be even better... 💪
